  • Publication number: 20190003989
Abstract: To correctly acquire image data of an inspected article by preventing a difference in shade between images caused by a difference in position or sensitivity between sensor elements. An X-ray generation source irradiates an inspection region where an inspected article passes with an X-ray. X-ray detection means receives the X-ray passing through the inspection region using a plurality of sensor elements. Image data generation means generates image data of the inspected article from an output of the X-ray detection means. Incidence condition changing means changes two or more kinds of X-ray incidence conditions common for all of the sensor elements of the X-ray detection means in a state of absence of the inspected article in the inspection region. Correction data generation means acquires correction data that is needed for making a shade of an image uniform for each incidence condition.

  • Publication number: 20180344009
Abstract: Provided is a cosmetic applicator having a coil spring at an applying portion thereof with which mascara may be easily applied to eyelashes. It is preferred that the coil spring not be exactly helicoidal, it being preferred that radial distance from the central axis to the outermost circumferential surface be made to vary as a function of angular position about the central axis. Variation in radial distance from the central axis to the outermost circumferential surface of the coil spring may occur in a repeating pattern of periodicity different from the pitch of the coil spring, causing coil spring shape element(s) to shift in angular position with each turn of the coil spring. Mascara may be held in spaces between adjacent coils, presence of bent portions which shift in the circumferential direction making it possible for the applying portion to easily retain mascara.

  • Publication number: 20180212681
Abstract: A receiving-side splitter 4 that constitutes part of an optical communication device 1 splits a receiving-side signal light into a plurality of lights at a splitting ratio according to the intensity distribution of mutually different propagation modes included in the receiving-side signal light passed through a transmission medium 3. A transmission-side splitter 10 splits a transmission-side signal light into a plurality of-lights. A signal processing device 5 detects the light intensity and/or the phase of the receiving-side signal light, and sets a control target value for the light intensity and/or the phase of the transmission-side signal light to a value according to the result of the detection. A modulator 9 adjusts the light intensity or the phase of a the transmission-side signal light so that the light intensity or phase equals the set value. A multiplexer 8 multiplexes the plurality of transmission-side signal lights.
