Abstract: Continuously after two contacts are made on a touch panel, when a gesture of moving the two contacts in a direction that a spacing therebetween is decreased and then releasing the two contacts after being moved is detected, an image forming apparatus identifies a program presented by an icon displayed in an area defined by the two contacts at least either of before and after being moved, as a program subjected to the gesture, and stores information that identifies the program subjected to the gesture. The image forming apparatus reads the information that identifies the program subjected to the gesture in accordance with a command related to the program subjected to the gesture to execute an operation related to the program, and transmits information depending on the operation to another device indicated by the command.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a touch panel, a controller connected to the touch panel, and a memory. When a pinch-in gesture on the touch panel is detected during execution of an application, the controller stores, in the memory, information showing a state of processing of the application when the pinch-in gesture is detected, and when a pinch-out gesture on the touch panel is detected, the controller reads the stored information showing the state of processing of the application from the memory, and resumes processing of the application from the state shown by the information.

Abstract: MFP as an image forming apparatus includes a touch panel, a controller connected to the touch panel, a memory for storing a data file, and a communication device for communicating with another device. Abstract: A presentation support device, comprises: a storage part for storing the presentation data and search filter information in which a keyword to specify the content of the presentation is registered; a data projection part for reading the presentation data in the storage part and causes the presentation data to be projected; a data distribution part for causing the information processing terminal to display the presentation data; and an answer generation part for obtaining an answer to a request on question toward the presentation and generating answer information in response to the request on question. The answer generation part reads the keyword registered in the search filter information and searches a predetermined database by a combination of the read keyword and a search keyword contained in the request on question, thereby obtaining the answer to the request on question and generating the answer information when the request on question is received.

Abstract: A content collecting apparatus, capable of accessing a plurality of electronic communities which each exchange contents among users via a network, includes a content accepting portion to accept a content input by a user as a question content, a selecting portion to select at least one of the electronic communities for posting the question content thereon, a posting portion to post the question content on the selected electronic community, and an evaluating portion to evaluate the electronic community on which the question content was posted, on the basis of an answer content posted in correspondence with the question content on that electronic community. The selecting portion, on the basis of the evaluation result by the evaluating portion, selects a second electronic community from among the plurality of electronic communities that is different from the first electronic community on which the question content was posted.
