Abstract: A bedding includes a surface cushion member which has air permeability in the thickness direction and the plane direction and whose surface side is a contact surface, and thereunder, a bed internal environment control means which forms a stream of air in the surface cushion member. In the surface cushion member, air passes through the thickness direction and quickly spreads in the plane direction, and an air layer in the surface cushion member is controlled to a predetermined temperature, humidity, or air flow, to generate the temperature gradient, the humidity gradient, or the air flow gradient between an air layer supported by the surface cushion member and the air layer in the surface cushion member.

Abstract: A seat structure includes a torsion bar 12 disposed along the width direction, and an arm 13 which is connected to the torsion bar 12, enforced in the direction of falling backward at a normal state by the torsion bar 12 in the rear of a seat cushion 10, and disposed is a flat-type supporting member 15 between the supporting frame 14 supported by the arm 13 and a frame member provided in front of the seat cushion, being strained by the elastic force of the torsion bar 12. Through this structure, the spring characteristic to give an influence on comfortability and riding comfort at the time of being seated can be given by the torsion bar 12, so that the number of coil springs which have been necessary in the vicinity of the body side can be reduced or the use of the coil spring can be stopped.

Abstract: A seat includes a seat cushion frame, a seat back frame mounted to the seat cushion frame, and at least one three-dimensional net having upper and lower mesh layers and a pile layer made up of a large number of piles for connecting the upper and lower mesh layers. The three-dimensional net is stretched over substantially the entire region of the seat cushion frame and the seat back frame, thereby forming a seat cushion and a seat back. The three-dimensional net has a fixed end at a front end portion of the seat cushion and another fixed end at an upper end portion of the seat back. The seat also includes a first tension member attached to the three-dimensional net at a location adjacent to a central portion thereof for imparting tension thereto, and a second tension member attached to another portion of the three-dimensional net for fastening it to at least one of the seat cushion frame and the seat back frame.
