Patent number: 8370808Abstract: A state-transition system includes a plurality of states and a first transition representing a state-change based on an external event occurred into a system to be checked. A plurality of requirement items includes a precondition and a postcondition in correspondence with the external event. By partially selecting the precondition and the postcondition from the plurality of requirement items, a state map to map a state onto truth values of the precondition and the postcondition is generated. By contracting the state-transition system with the state map, a quotient state-transition system is generated. The quotient state-transition system includes a plurality of second transitions among a plurality of groups each having states. By tracing each second transition in the quotient state-transition system, a representative transition path is generated. The representative transition path is regenerated as a transition path in the state-transition system. The transition path is output as a test case.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2010Date of Patent: February 5, 2013Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventors: Akinori Ohta, Hiromasa Shin, Mikito Iwamasa, Yusuke Endoh

Patent number: 8368527Abstract: An electronic device is provided which executes a function useful in that place without a user in possession of the electronic device being intentional, and which does not receive a signal without providing a special setting if the function is not useful even if the place and the device are the same. There are an electronic device A and an electronic device each having a human body communication function. In a case where a user is holding the electronic device A, the electronic device B outputs a control signal for causing the electronic device A to execute a function aimed to eliminate a danger or an annoyance to the surroundings occurring because of holding it, whereas, due to the fact that the user has the electronic device, the electronic device A receives the control signal irrespective of the user's intention and executes a function based on the control signal.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2006Date of Patent: February 5, 2013Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Hidekazu Kano, Akinori Ohta, Iwao Matsuura, Akihiro Miyashita

Patent number: 7429469Abstract: This invention relates to a method of producing polyesters resulting from homopolymerization or copolymerization of a 3-hydroxyalkanoic acid(s) and having biodegradability and good physical properties using yeasts as hosts. By constructing at least one enzyme gene involved in polyester synthesis by adding a DNA coding a peroxisome-targeting signal, introducing an enzyme gene expression cassette containing that gene into yeast, and cultivating the thus-obtained transformant, it becomes possible to cause accumulation of a polyester resulting from homopolymerization or copolymerization of a 3-hydroxyalkanoic acid(s) in yeast cells and recover the polyester from the culture.Type: GrantFiled: October 9, 2002Date of Patent: September 30, 2008Assignee: Kaneka CorporationInventors: Satoru Yokomizo, Takeshi Fukuchi, Fumio Osakada, Keiji Matsumoto, Masamichi Takagi, Akinori Ohta

Publication number: 20080233620Abstract: The present invention provides a process for producing yeast excellent in cell productivity and gene manipulation of which is easy, being added with nutritional requirement by disrupting only a specific gene, and a transformant thereof. Moreover, the present invention also provides a process for producing a gene expression product, particularly a polyhydroxyalkanoic acid. In the present invention, yeast in which a plurality of genes is disrupted is produced using the homologous recombination. Moreover, a transformant is obtained by introducing a plurality of enzyme genes involved with polyhydroxyalkanoic acid synthesis such as a polyhydroxyalkanoic acid synthase gene and an acetoacetyl CoA reductase gene into said gene-disrupted yeast. Furthermore, said transformant is cultured, copolyesters comprising a polyhydroxyalkanoic acid are efficiently accumulated within the cells, and a polymer is harvested from the cultured product.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2005Publication date: September 25, 2008Inventors: Yuji Okubo, Keiji Matsumoto, Masamichi Takagi, Akinori Ohta

Publication number: 20080016292Abstract: An access controller includes an access control cache configured to store access control data that associates an address range with an access permission. The access control cache reads the access control data by selecting a cache line. A line decision device receives an object code of an assembler instruction to be executed by a CPU and decides the cache line to be selected for accessing the access control cache based on the object code. A cache determination device determines a cache hit in a case where a memory address to be accessed by the assembler instruction is included in the address range, and outputs corresponding access permission.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 22, 2007Publication date: January 17, 2008Inventors: Shigeta Kuninobu, Akinori Ohta, Hiromasa Shin

Publication number: 20070087421Abstract: A gene expression cassette comprising an Aeromonas caviae-origin polyhydroxyalkanoic acid (PHA) synthase gene having a mutation introduced thereinto and a promoter and a terminator acting in a yeast; a transformant constructed by transferring the above gene expression cassette into a yeast; and a process for producing a polyester using the above transformant. Thus, it becomes possible to efficiently produce a copolymerized polyester having a high biodegradability and excellent properties by copolymerizing 3-hydroxyalkanoic acids in a yeast.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 14, 2004Publication date: April 19, 2007Inventors: Yuji Okubo, Tetsuya Nagaoka, Satoru Yokomizo, Keiji Matsumoto, Masamichi Takagi, Akinori Ohta

Patent number: 7089044Abstract: The invention aims at providing a folding type radio terminal, a call start method and a call start program which allows the user to start a call with a simple operation. On the folding type radio terminal, when a motor driving button is pressed while an incoming signal is being received with a top lid open with respect to a main unit, a controller drives a motor to open the top lid. When a top lid state detector has detected that the top lid is fully open or a predetermined time is measured by the timer from the driving of the motor, the controller 155 shuts down the motor. The controller performs call connection processing in response to the incoming signal so as to place the radio terminal in the call state. This starts a call.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2002Date of Patent: August 8, 2006Assignee: Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd.Inventor: Akinori Ohta

Patent number: 7083972Abstract: The present invention relates to a gene coding for a copolyester-synthesizing enzyme, a microorganism which utilizes the gene for the fermentative synthesis of a polyester, and a method of producing a polyester with the aid of the microorganism. More particularly, the present invention relates to a gene which functions in a host organism and, by an enzyme, synthesizes a plastic-like polymer degradable under the action of microorganisms in the natural environment (the soil, river or sea). The present invention also, more particularly, relates to a transformant derived from the host organism by transformation with the gene and having an improved ability to fermentatively synthesize a plastic-like polymer, and a method of producing a copolyester with the aid of the transformant.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2001Date of Patent: August 1, 2006Assignee: Kaneka CorporationInventors: Satoru Yokomizo, Takeshi Fukuchi, Fumio Osakada, Keiji Matsumoto, Masamichi Takagi, Akinori Ohta
