  • Publication number: 20240132632
Abstract: A method for producing a hydrogenated polymer composition including a hydrogenated conjugated diene modified polymer that has a boron-containing functional group, the method including: (1) anionically polymerizing a monomer including a conjugated diene in the presence of a reactive metal or reactive metal compound capable of causing anionic polymerization to produce a reactive terminal polymer (Z); (2) reacting the reactive terminal polymer (Z) obtained in (1) with a boric acid compound that has at least two partial structures represented by B—O—R (I), and in which at least one R bonded to an oxygen atom in the partial structure (I) has a Taft's steric parameter Es value of ?0.30 or less to obtain an unhydrogenated conjugated diene modified polymer having a boron-containing functional group; and (3) hydrogenating at least some of carbon-carbon double bonds contained in conjugated diene units included in the unhydrogenated conjugated diene modified polymer obtained in (2).

  • Patent number: 5913434
Abstract: The present invention provides a retortable container which has an engagement ridge (19), of an outer diameter D.sub.1 smaller than an inner diameter D.sub.2 of a thread of a cap (20), formed on the outer circumference of the neck (13) near the top face thereof and an engagement portion (26) having an engaging hook (26a), capable of engaging with the engagement ridge (19) of the neck (13) under the condition that engagement of the neck (13) and the cap (20) is completed, being formed integrally therewith on the bottom surface of the top wall (21) of the cap (20), whereas the engagement portion (26) is formed in a shape of cylinder having a wall thickness smaller than the wall thickness of the circumferential wall (28) of the cap (20), and the engaging hook (26a) protrudes in an annular shape inwardly from the open bottom end of the engagement portion (26).

  • Patent number: 5088870
Abstract: A method for forming a two chambered can having a first chamber in a seamless hollow can cylinder with a closed end portion formed by deep drawing a thin aluminium sheet a second chamber defined in a recess which is formed by inversely rolling a part of the can cylinder at the location adjacent to the end wall of the can cylinder to displace the end wall toward the interior of the can cylinder. respective chambers are filled with different contents and are sealingly closed by respective can lids by a double winding up process respectively.

  • Patent number: 4634003
Abstract: A container for separately accommodating a pair of liquids, such as mineral water and whisky, including a main body for accommodating a first liquid, a small cup for accommodating a second liquid, provided with a flange extending from the entire periphery of an upper end of the small cup and a skirt extending downward from the entire periphery of an upper end of the flange, and a flexible lid for liquid-tightly sealing an upper free opening of the small cup. The small cup is fit into an upper free opening of the main body engaging the flange and the skirt with the entire periphery of an upper end of the main body. The small cup has a specified area, in a bottom wall, at least partially bordered by a score line. The lid has a downward projection. The specified area is broken by pushing down the lid until a tip of the projection presses to break the specified area, whereby the second liquid flows down into the main body and mixes with the first liquid in the main body.
