    Abstract: A yoke for universal joint includes a base portion and a pair of opposed side walls and is connected to one end of a rotating shaft having two planes parallel to each other. One end of the rotating shaft is inserted between the opposed side walls such that both planes oppose the respective opposed side walls and the lower surface is abutted on the base portion. Then, a fastening portion of the opposed side walls in the upper portions thereof is fastened by a bolt such that the rotating shaft is interposed and fixed. On the inner surfaces of the opposed side walls, the concave portion is formed under the fastening portion. The concave portion is pushed against the outer peripheral square portion of the rotating shaft in both sides of the fastening portion in the axial direction of the rotating shaft.

    Abstract: An electronic camera includes a CCD imager. The CCD imager has an imaging surface in which two sensor areas are formed. A raw image produced in one sensor area is output from a channel CH1, and a raw image produced in the other sensor area is output from a channel CH2. The raw image from the channel CH1 is clamped by a clamp circuit at a clamp level LV1, and the raw image from the channel CH2 is clamped by another clamp circuit at a clamp level LV2. The clamp level LV1 matches an optical black level VCL of the raw image from the channel CH1. The clamp level LV2 matches a subtraction level “VCL?(VAL?VAR)” determined by subtracting a difference between a preliminary feeding level VAL of the raw image from the channel CH1 and a preliminary level VAR of the raw image from the channel CH2, from the black level VCL of the raw image from the channel CH1.

    Abstract: A high-carbon hot-rolled steel sheet with excellent width-direction homogeneity is provided. The steel sheet contains 0.2% to 0.7% carbon, 0.01% to 1.0% silicon, 0.1% to 1.0% manganese, 0.03% or less phosphorus, 0.035% or less sulfur, 0.08% or less aluminum, and 0.01% or less nitrogen, and the balance is iron and incidental impurities. The structure is such that the average ferrite grain size of edge parts of the steel sheet is less than 35 ?m, the average ferrite grain size of a part closer to the center of the steel sheet than the edge parts is less than 20 ?m, and the average carbide grain size is 0.10 ?m or more and less than 2.0 ?m. The steel sheet is produced by roughly rolling the steel, finish-rolling the steel at a finishing temperature of more than (Ar3+40° C.), cooling the steel at a cooling rate of more than 120° C./s within two seconds after the finish rolling to a cooling termination temperature of more than 550° C. and less than 650° C., coiling the steel at a temperature of 550° C.

The erroneous assembling preventing tool comprises a fixing section fixed to the yoke main body, a prevention section arranged between first and second tabs of the yoke main body, and a driving section for driving a prevention section. The prevention section is displaceable to a prevention position at which an end of the bolt can be prevented from being inserted through a screw hole of the second tab of the yoke and a prevention release position. The driving section displaces the prevention section to the prevention release position when it is pressed by an end of the shaft inserted into the normal position of the axial direction of the cylindrical section.
