Abstract: An apparatus for automatic placement and collection of chairs having a dolly allowing a large number of chairs stacked in a horizontal direction to be loaded thereon, the dolly having a base on which the front legs on the lateral sides of the chairs can be positioned while being inclined frontward, and also having a horizontal chair-guide bar capable of being inserted through the space between the front and rear legs of each chair for supporting the chair from below and for guiding the chair in the direction in which the chair is moved for placement or collection.
