    Abstract: A plurality of measurement electronic device units (10, 20) each having a measurement detector connected thereto and thus having a measuring function are connected in series by connectors to be capable of mutually conveying measurement data and signals, and one (10) of the plural measurement electronic device units serves as a parent device having a function of transmitting/receiving measurement data and signals to/from an external device (5). Each of the control parts (21, 22) of the plural measurement electronic device units (10, 20) has a memory storing a measured value, and the parent device sends a measured value save command to a trigger line (44) in response to a request from the external device (5) to the parent device so that the measurement electronic device units including the own unit are caused to simultaneously save measured values in the control parts (21, 22).

    Abstract: An electronic device system (10) includes an electronic device unit (parent device) (1) connected to an external device (5) and a plurality of electronic device units (child devices) (2 to 4) connected in series to it. An initialization instruction from a CPU (20) of the parent device (1) turns off all the switches (22) for opening/closing the RS-485 line connecting all the electronic device units. The parent device (1) successively generates identification codes (ID). A parent device (1) starts to set the code as its ID and turns on the switch (22) of the electronic device unit after the setting is complete. Thus, ID's are automatically set from the parent device (1) to the child devices (2 to 4) successively in the order of the connection.

    Abstract: A piezoelectric actuator is deformed from an initial condition for a time (T1) in a direction, in which an inner volume of an ink chamber is increased, to supply ink to the ink chamber. Subsequently, the piezoelectric actuator is deformed for a time (T2) at a considerably slow speed as compared with the time (T1) for the preceding supply of ink to gradually increase the inner volume of the ink chamber to supply ink to the ink chamber. During the time (T2), free oscillation having generated in ink in the piezoelectric actuator and the ink chamber attenuates. Subsequently, the piezoelectric actuator is rapidly deformed to compress the ink chamber, thereby jetting ink in the ink chamber via nozzle holes.
