    Abstract: A gas sensor element has a solid electrolyte body of oxygen ionic conductivity, a target gas electrode and a reference gas electrode formed on both surfaces of the solid electrolyte body, respectively, a porous diffusion resistance layer, and a catalyst support trap layer. The porous diffusion resistance layer covers the target gas electrode and through which target gases to be measured are passing. The catalyst support trap layer is formed on the outer surface of the porous diffusion resistance layer and supports noble metal catalyst. In the gas sensor element, the noble metal catalyst is made of platinum, rhodium, palladium supported in the catalyst support trap layer. In particular, an addition amount of palladium in the total amount of the noble metal catalyst is within a range of 2 to 65 wt %.

CMOS SSB mixer 34 multiplies output signal 38 selected by CMOS selector 33 and four-phase input signal 39 input from an external source by each other to generate a signal having a frequency represented by the sum of, or the difference between, the frequency of output signal 38 and the frequency of four-phase input signal 39, and outputs the generated signal as output signal 40. CML buffer 35 adjusts the level of output signal 40 from CMOS SSB mixer 34 and outputs the level-adjusted signal to another circuit.

The method further comprises decoding said wobble clock signal by a decoder, said decoder to provide a sync clock signal to an encoder loop circuit, said sync clock signal based on said wobble clock signal generating an encoder clock signal using said encoder loop circuit. In addition, the method comprises comparing said sync clock signal to said encoder clock signal to provide a position command to position the optical head of said optical drive.

    Abstract: A resonance circuit comprising, for example, an inductor and a plurality of capacitors is provided as a load of a transistor. The capacitors are changed over by a switch. As the capacitors are changed over by the switch, a resonance frequency is changed according to the invention the frequency hopping of an input signal. To cancel ringing that occurs at the time of the switching action, a transistor which cancels gate feed through is added to the switch. An inductor is provided at the gate in order to suppress a gain reduction and an increase in noise factor in a high-frequency range. This provides a compact, wide-band amplifier which has low noise, a wide gain and low power consumption.
