  • Patent number: 5752871
Abstract: A running body which can run at least forward or rearward includes a power source; a vehicle body including three vehicle body structural elements which are foldably connected to one another in series through axles, and a gear mechanism for driving wheels by the power source. The wheels are attached to the axles and other axles disposed on fore and rear portions of the vehicle body. At least one of the wheels is driven at a speed different from the others. A motor may be used as the power source and remote control for controlling the rotation of the motor may be also used, in order to give a variations of the figure of the running body.

  • Patent number: 4696477
Abstract: An amusement device is provided, including a square base having a path formed thereon made substantially of movable projections, each projection including a plurality of plateaus; a first, small figure resembling a human or animal which is manually movable about the path; a plurality of loose members resembling eggs or rocks capable of being temporarily received by the first, small figure; a second, larger figure resembling a dinosaur fixedly attached to the base and having a movable mouth; and an operating mechanism including a push button and being connected between the movable projections and the mouth of the second, large figure for moving the movable projections and the second figure's mouth, when the push button is pushed. When a first figure is located on a projection that is moving while supporting a loose member, the first figure and/or the loose member may be caused to fall off of the projection.

  • Patent number: 4589660
Abstract: A miniature action toy suitable for strapping to the wrist of the user includes a windup motor having a control pawl and ratchet wheel. An indicia carrier strip is located on two spools which are driven by an output gear of the motor. A first control element is positioned over the indicia strip so as to move laterally side to side over the indicia strip, and up and down toward and away from the indicia strip. A second control element is positioned so as to contact the first control element and further includes a pawl locking element which is positioned so as to contact the motor pawl. In response to upward movement of the first control element away from the indicia strip, the pawl locking element locks with the motor pawl so as to freeze the motor. In response to movement of the first control element down toward the indicia strip, the pawl locking element disengages from the pawl so as to free the motor and allow the output gear to roll the spools and the indicia strip attached thereto.

  • Patent number: 4457098
Abstract: A variable speed vehicle has a satellite vehicle attached thereto by a connecting member. The variable speed vehicle includes a spring activated motor and a power train which is capable of receiving power from the motor and driving the vehicle at at least two velocities. The connecting member is fixedly attached to the satellite vehicle and movable with respect to the primary vehicle. When the satellite vehicle is moved away from the primary vehicle, the connecting member activates the spring motor, and when so activated, the spring motor returns the satellite vehicle towards the primary vehicle by acting on the connecting member. A velocity governing device is operatively associated with the power train and is responsive to the position of the satellite vehicle with respect to the primary vehicle.
