  • Patent number: 6038758
Abstract: A spinning ring for a ring spinning machine is produced by clamping and pressing a ring-like steel blank by a mandrel and a forming roll, pressing and deforming the blank by cold rolling, causing the blank to fluidize in, and fill, the gap between both machining surfaces of the forming roll and the mandrel, and rolling the blank in the direction of thickness and so expanding its diameter into a predetermined size. To prevent crack, a ring-like blank whose portion having a large machining quantity is in advance machined to a smaller thickness by machining means such as forging, cutting and rolling is preferably used. Since this production method does not essentially remove the material, the yield of the material is high, and because the number of production steps is less, the production cost can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 4885905
Abstract: A ring for spinning machinery is made of alloy steel containing Cr 0.9-26% as basic material. The basic material is cut in the desired ring shape, is subjected to gas carburizing, quenching, subzero treatment and tempering and is finally subjected to a grinding. This ring has a surface layer in which carbide occupies 30-90% in the rate of area, with a surface roughness which has an average roughness of less than Ra 0.25 .mu.m at a center line.

  • Patent number: 4826907
Abstract: An acrylic or methacrylic resin emulsion coating composition comprising a blended mixture composed of(1) 100 parts by weight as solid resin content of a copolymer resin emulsion [A], the copolymer resin therein having a glass transition temperature Tg(A), determined by the DSC method, of about -10.degree. to about -55.degree. C., and said copolymer resin emulsion [A] being an aqueous emulsion-copolymerization product being free from a copolymerizable diallyl component and derived from acrylic and/or methacrylic monomers (a) and (b) specified in the claims in the presence of a polyoxyethylene/polyoxypropylene block copolymer,(2) 20 to 300 parts by weight as solid resin content of a copolymer emulsion [B], the copolymer resin therein having a glass transition temperature Tg(B), determined by the DSC method, of less than 0.degree. C., and satisfying the following equationTg(B)-Tg(A)=10.about.55.degree. C.
