  • Patent number: 9061600
Abstract: An auxiliary machine mounting structure of a saddle-ride type vehicle that ensures consistent appearance irrespective of the presence or absence of a mounting of an auxiliary machine or device such as an antenna being mounted on a meter visor to ensure the degree of freedom in layout without having to consider the possibility of the windshield creating a ghost image of the auxiliary machine or device. An opening is formed on the windshield side of the meter visor. An ETC cover is detachably mounted on the meter visor to cover the opening. An antenna is positioned beneath the ETC cover and disposed in the opening.

  • Patent number: 8907614
Abstract: A photovoltaic power generation system in which an electricity generated by solar cells and a remaining battery level can be checked at once, thus enabling the photovoltaic power generation system to be efficiently operated. The photovoltaic power generation system is provided to charge a battery of a vehicle and is equipped with solar cells for feeding an electromotive force to the battery. The photovoltaic power generation system includes LEDs to make the remaining battery level and the electricity generated by the solar cells visible. Without taking the trouble to prepare a measuring instrument or to push a button of an indicator, a user of the vehicle can immediately check the remaining battery level and the electricity generated by the solar cells by visually checking the display of the LEDs, thus enabling the photovoltaic power generation system to be efficiently operated.
