  • Patent number: 4638782
Abstract: In an control apparatus for controlling a timing of injection of fuel to be injected into an internal combustion engine, the apparatus comprises a closed loop system in which the data showing the actual timing of injection of of fuel is fed back. When the condition of the operation of the engine becomes a predetermined state, the control system is changed from the closed loop system to another system in which an adjusting member for adjusting the timing of injection of fuel is controlled by a signal which is not related to the actual timing of injection. As a result, the stability of the operation in low engine speed zone is remarkably improved.

  • Patent number: 4573347
Abstract: In a fuel injection advance angle measuring apparatus, in which the advance angle is measured on the basis of an injection timing signal produced from, such as, a needle valve lift sensor and a reference timing signal indicative of the reference timing of the engine rotation, in order to remove the noise signal from the signal from the sensor, a masking signal indicating a predetermined period in which the desired component of the injection timing signal is not to be produced, is generated in response to the injection timing signal and the reference timing signal whereby to eliminate the undesired components of the injection timing signal for the measurement of the fuel injection advance angle and to obtain the fuel injection advance angle with high accuracy in measurement.

  • Patent number: 4443852
Abstract: A control signal which corresponds to an actual operating condition of the engine is determined on the basis of the design specifications irrespective of an actual operation amount of an operating member of the fuel injection apparatus. The result of the determination is provided for controlling a coupled apparatus which is equipped with the engine.

  • Patent number: 4290037
Abstract: A flat electromagnetic relay which includes a base member having at least two projections extending from a flat surface thereof. At least one hole (or indent), fitting a pertinent one of the projections, is formed in each supporting block that holds a contact, yoke, a hinging spring, or the like. These and similar members are successively stacked on the surface of the base member, with the projections fitted through the holes in the supporting blocks. The free ends of the respective projections are then deformed to secure and hold the components in position. A contact actuating card is put in place after the stack of contact holding blocks is assembled and locked in position. The block through which a contact carrying leaf spring is molded preferably has an end surface formed at an angle such that a portion of the leaf spring may be subsequently bent to extend substantially perpendicular to the remainder of the leaf spring, thereby forming a solder terminal.

  • Patent number: 4128378
Abstract: Equipment for producing a high voltage rectifying unit wherein there is a resin ingredient tank and a curing agent tank for storing separately the resin ingredient and the curing agent, a closed mixer for mixing the resin ingredient and the curing agent, a vacuum chamber for injecting a mixed thermo-setting resin composition into the high voltage rectifying unit, a chamber for defoaming the injected resin composition, a furnace for curing the injected resin composition by heating, and a carrier apparatus covered to isolate the external atmosphere which may carry the resin composition-injected high voltage rectifying unit from the defoaming chamber to the curing furnace, whereby the procedures from vacuum injection to curing can be carried out continuously and automatically.
