  • Patent number: 8297013
Abstract: A fireproof resin sash that is usable in fire zones or the like is provided, regarding which fireproof performance is easily imparted to a general non-fireproof resin sash without modification of the structure thereof. In a fireproof resin sash 1, vertical frame members 11 and 12 and lateral frame members 13 and 14 that are synthetic resin members having a plurality of hollows along the longitudinal directions thereof are combined with each other to constitute an opening body 10, and vertical rail members 21 and 22 and lateral rail members 23 and 24 are combined with each other to constitute screens 20 that support windowpanes 25. Fireproof sheets 15 and 15A made up of thermally expandable fireproof material are inserted into hollows selected from the hollows of the members so that fireproof surfaces can be formed in the direction along the glass surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20120066170
Abstract: A sound-volume prediction apparatus acquires model information on an electronic device and positional information on an air intake section and/or an air-exhaust section of the electronic device. Furthermore, by using the model information and the positional information, the sound-volume prediction apparatus extends a sound ray that indicates a transmission route of sound generated by a sound source inside the electronic device toward the air-intake section and/or the air-exhaust section from the position of the sound source until the sound ray reaches the outside of the electronic device. The sound-volume prediction apparatus predicts sound transmission characteristics inside the electronic device by using geometric information on the flow path of the extended sound ray.

  • Patent number: 8014978
Abstract: The present invention provides a numerical analysis model data generating program, method, and system for generating numerical analysis model data, which is used for numerical analysis, on the basis of three-dimensional shape data of a structure that is an object of analysis. Three-dimensional shape data defining the structure is inputted. Holes included in the inputted three-dimensional shape data are extracted, and the size of each of the holes is calculated. If the size of a given hole is smaller than a predetermined size, the hole is filled. Thus, numerical analysis model data is generated. According to the present invention, when the numerical analysis model data is generated, a relatively small amount of analysis model data can be generated without adversely affecting the accuracy in numerical analysis.

  • Publication number: 20110142614
Abstract: A counter-rotating axial flow fan with reduced noise at the target operating point achieved without modifying a front impeller, a rear impeller, or a middle stationary portion is provided. An annular rib including a projecting surface for generating turbulent flow is formed on an inner wall portion of a casing at a position off from the middle stationary portion to a side of the rear impeller, the projecting surface extending radially inwardly of the inner wall portion and extending continuously in the circumferential direction of the inner wall portion. A fluid striking the projecting surface for generating turbulent flow is partially disturbed to form a turbulent flow before entering an area in which the rear impeller is provided. The turbulent flow suppresses flow separation of a fluid flowing along the surfaces of rear blades of the rear impeller from the surfaces of the rear blades.
