  • Patent number: 11969712
    Abstract: A catalyst for purification of exhaust gas in which Pd-based nanoparticles and ceria nanoparticles are supported on a composite metal oxide support containing alumina, ceria, and zirconia, wherein a molar ratio (Ce/Pd) of Ce and Pd supported on the support is 1 to 8, a proximity ? between Pd and Ce is 0.15 to 0.50, wherein the proximity ? is determined, based on Pd and Ce distribution maps in an element mapping image of energy dispersive X-ray analysis, by the following formula (1): ? = ? j = 0 N - 1 ? ? i = 0 M - 1 ? ( ( I ? ( i , j ) - I ave ) ? ( T ? ( i , j ) - T ave ) ) ? j = 0 N - 1 ? ? i = 0 M - 1 ? ( I ? ( i , j ) - I ave ) 2 - ? j = 0 N - 1 ? ? i = 0 M - 1 ? ( T ? ( i , j ) - T ave ) 2 , ( 1 ) a Pd dispersity after a heat-resistance test at 1050° C. for 25 hours is 0.8% or more.

  • Publication number: 20080110507
Abstract: A check ring is mounted around a shaft of a screw tip that is mounted on a front part of a screw, whereby a resin is prevented from flowing back from ahead of a conical portion toward the screw. Projections are provided on a front end surface of the check ring. In measurement, a rear end surface of the conical portion of the screw tip and respective end surfaces of the projections are brought into contact with one another, whereby gaps are created between the screw tip and respective root surfaces of teeth of the check ring. By doing this, resin passages can be secured around contact surfaces between the rear end surface of the screw tip and the respective end surfaces of the projections of the check ring.

  • Patent number: 6984120
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to suppress a clamping force from sharply increasing when dies are clamped in an electric direct-acting die clamping unit of an injection molding machine. A movable platen is arranged to face a stationary platen. A stationary die is attached to the front surface of the stationary platen, whereas a movable die is attached to the front surface of the movable platen. The movable platen is connected to the front surface of a backup plate via four coil springs. A nut of a ball screw is fixed at each of diagonally-opposed corners of the backup plate. The threaded rod of the ball screw passes through the backup plate via the nut. The tip portion of the threaded rod is rotatably connected to the stationary platen. The rear end portion of the threaded rod is connected to a motor.

  • Patent number: 6914537
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of monitoring operation data for quality control with a little possibility that a nondefective product is mistakenly determined as a defective product even if the operation data fluctuates in a large waviness curve. Every time an operation data piece for quality control is obtained, a moving average of the predetermined number of data pieces lately obtained is calculated. When the deviation of a data piece from the moving average exceeds the tolerance limit, an alarm is generated. By employing the method of the present invention for monitoring operation data such as charging time, injection time and the amount of cushion in an injection-molding machine, the accuracy of determination as to a defective or nondefective can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20030059493
Abstract: A direct type clamping assembly for a motorized injection molding machine to maintain a clamping force for a predetermined time without causing motor stalling is disclosed. A stationary platen and back plate are fixedly attached to a base, and a movable platen is slidingly associated with the base. A housing is disposed in front of the back plate with coil springs disposed between the housing and the back plate. A nut of a ball-screw assembly is rotatably accommodated in the housing with a bearing. When the ball-screw assembly is rotatably driven, the movable platen moves forward, stopping when a mold is completely joined together. The housing can accordingly move backward as the ball-screw assembly is further rotatably driven, compressing the coil springs and generating and maintaining the clamping force. Slight rotation of the motor prevents motor stalling, and the resulting slight movement of the housing scarcely influences the clamping force.
