A heat-resistant fiber web of a blend or laminate comprising metal fibers and inorganic fibers or a heat-resistant fiber web of a blend or laminate comprising metal fibers or inorganic fibers and heat-resistant organic fibers is needle-punched with or without a heat-resistant ground fabric laminated so as to intermingle.
