  • Publication number: 20240017778
Abstract: An axle cartridge member receives a pair of torsion stub axles at opposite lateral sides thereof. The torsion stub axles include elongated axle housings, which are sandwiched between two parallel plates to align the torsion stub axles with respect to one another. The cartridge member includes a central arch extending between the two torsion stub axles, which can provide additional ground clearance when the axle cartridge member is mounted to a trailer.

  • Publication number: 20150318163
Abstract: An electrode for dosing oxygen into a metal halide lamp, where the electrode supplies oxygen during lamp operation in an amount effective to maintain a wall cleaning tungsten halogen chemical cycle. Use of the oxygen dosing electrode increases the lumen maintenance of the lamp to 80% or higher at 6000 hours. A method for making an oxidized electrode for use as an oxygen dispenser into the discharge vessel of a metal halide lamp is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20150084501
Abstract: Provided is an electrode assembly for a CMH lamp containing: primary mandrel surrounded by a secondary mandrel, which is nested inside of a coil overwind. The assembly of the primary mandrel, secondary mandrel, and coil overwind are connect to an electrode on one end and a lead wire on the other end and housed in ceramic housing. This assembly is efficient for increased thermal resistance of a CMH electrode while at the same time allowing seal glass to penetrate seal voids within the ceramic assembly.

  • Publication number: 20130154475
Abstract: A lamp includes a discharge vessel; electrodes spaced apart in the discharge vessel comprising tungsten or tungsten alloy; and a fill sealed within the vessel having a pressure between 50-200 mbar. The fill includes: a starting gas which comprises: xenon, krypton, argon or combinations thereof with the exception of pure argon; optionally radioactive Kr85 with a maximum activity level of 0.124 MBq/l as part of the starting gas; and a metal halide component. The lamp includes an active tungsten regeneration cycle wherein the fill comprises a species of the tungsten or tungsten alloy of material of the electrodes during lamp operation, wherein the solubility of tungsten or components of tungsten alloy in the tungsten or tungsten alloy species is lower in a gas phase adjacent to the electrodes than at close proximity of the wall of the discharge vessel.
