  • Publication number: 20240125407
Abstract: A valve actuator assembly having an actuator housing coupled to a bonnet and a housing lid. A hydraulic cylinder is positioned within the actuator housing and directly coupled to the bonnet. A piston is positioned within the hydraulic cylinder and coupled to a spring lifter assembly and a spring is positioned within the actuator housing and having a first end and a second end, the first end being coupled to a lower surface of the housing lid, and the second end being coupled to the spring lifter assembly. An operating stem is coupled to the piston and positioned in a channel extending through the bonnet to a valve body assembly.

  • Patent number: 11920705
Abstract: An embodiment includes a spool that may expand and contract to ease removal and addition of components to an oilfield manifold. The spool may comprise: a first conduit to couple to a first flange via a first ring joint gasket; a second conduit to couple to a second flange via a second ring joint gasket, the second conduit including threads; a third conduit coupled to the first and second conduits; and a fourth conduit including threads, the threads of the fourth conduit directly engaging the threads of the second conduit. The first, second, and third conduits collectively form a channel that couples first and second opposing ends of the spool to one another and which includes a long axis. Rotating the fourth conduit about the long axis moves the second conduit linearly along the long axis.

  • Patent number: 11885198
Abstract: Embodiments include a choke system that passes enlarged debris despite having a relatively small diameter for an input port of the choke system. Embodiments also include systems to prevent dislodging of a choke seat when backpressure is supplied to the choke system. Embodiments also include sealing systems to prevent fluid leaks around the choke seat of the choke system.

  • Publication number: 20230272860
Abstract: The present invention provides a gate valve assembly having a valve body with a channel extending from a distal end to a proximal end, a gate configured to be moved from a first position to a second position, the second position being when the gate is positioned in the channel of the valve body between the distal end and the proximal end of the valve body. A seat insert is also provided to be threaded into a pocked of the valve body and a seat is configured to be positioned within the seat insert. A seal is adapted within a groove of the seat insert positioned between the valve body and the seat insert, wherein the seal is a fixed static seal providing no gaps and/or spaces between the seal insert and the valve body allowing no debris to corrupt the seals.

  • Publication number: 20230228332
Abstract: An embodiment includes a gate valve comprising: a valve body including a cavity coupled to a channel having proximal and distal portions; a gate to seal and unseal the channel; proximal and distal seats adjacent the gate; wherein (a) the proximal seat traverses towards the gate and stops at a first position when the gate is closing and the proximal channel portion is more highly pressurized than the cavity, and (b) the distal seat slides away from the gate and stops at a second position when the gate is closing and the cavity is more heavily pressurized than the distal channel portion. Other embodiments are described herein.
