Abstract: Capsicum plants produce fruits which are and remain green at maturity and/or over-maturity, and not olive green like existing evergreen varieties. The plants homozygously include in their genome a mutant allele of the cl gene encoding the Capsicum stay-green (CaSGR) protein and a mutant allele of the wt gene encoding the phytoene synthase (PSY) protein. Further, parts and cells of the plants, in particular pepper fruits are and remain green at maturity and/or over-maturity. Moreover, methods for producing the Capsicum plants and methods identify, detect and/or select the plants.

Abstract: An apparatus which includes a tilting jack of which the axis on which it is articulated to the tilting structure is in front of the axis on which it is articulated on the frame and in which the tilting structure and the frame are so adapted that the effect of actuating the tilting jack is to cause a lifting hook to tilt about a first transverse tilting axis between a position for starting or finishing tilting and a position for changing the axis, and about a second transverse tilting axis between the position for changing the axis and a position for picking up a load from, or setting down on, the ground.

This valve comprises a seat perpendicular to the axis of the valve and an offset butterfly gate, optionally off-center in relation to its drive axis, the peripheral edge surface of the butterfly gate presenting a form such that its normals in the regions situated on both sides of the plane of symmetry of the butterfly gate, passing through its axis of rotation, intersect the axis of symmetry of the joint or seal at two distinct points, C.sub.1 and C.sub.2.
