  • Publication number: 20110204161
Abstract: The present invention relates to a door (9) for a door-type thrust reverser able to be hinged to a fixed structure of a thrust reverser comprising an internal surface designed to integrate with a stream of an airflow generated by a turbojet and an outer surface designed to provide the external aerodynamic continuity of a nacelle to which said thrust reverser is to be fitted, said door being fitted with airflow deflection means located at an upstream end of the door and mounted movably in a plane approximately perpendicular to the plane of the door between a first, retracted position in which the deflection means do not enter the stream when the door is closed and a second, deployed position in which the deflection means project from the door, said door being characterized in that the deflection means are rotatable in the said plane about a corresponding shaft.

  • Publication number: 20100115916
Abstract: A nacelle for a turbojet includes an air inlet structure capable of channeling an air flow toward a fan of the turbojet, a middle structure designed to surround the fan and a downstream section fitted with a pivoting-door thrust reverser system having a single thrust reverser door mounted so as to pivot between a closed position in which it allows an air flow to travel from the turbojet in a direct jet and in which it ensures the internal and external aerodynamic continuity of the nacelle and an open position in which it pivots toward a position substantially perpendicular to the axis of the nacelle, a downstream portion of the door moving inside the nacelle to close off at least a portion of the air flow of the turbojet and direct it in a direction oriented toward the front of the nacelle, where the downstream section has, downstream of the door, a ring extending over the whole periphery.

  • Publication number: 20070210472
Abstract: A method for production of discontinuous elements, such as thrust-reverser cascade vanes, from a continuous premix. The premix (8), containing at least one layer of unidirectional continuous fibres (11) and a filler (9), is arranged in the large dimension of the elements (X-X1). The semi-finished product thus obtained is made up of parts (12a-12c) which will provide the elements and sheets of material (13a,13b) which will be subsequently removed.
