Abstract: A system for controlling at least one beam of light emitted from a lighting apparatus in a vehicle. The control system may, in at least one embodiment, control the lighting apparatus based on road navigation data and/or vehicle sensor data. The road navigation data may include information related to the form of the road and a reliability rate. If the reliability rate of the road navigation data is higher than a threshold value, then the road navigation data may be used in conjunction with the vehicle sensor data.
