  • Publication number: 20090078621
Abstract: A system for filtering and removing viruses from water supply sources comprises a decontaminating unit (10) inserted between a water source (12) and at least one water supply source (14, 16, 18) of a closed space, a warning controller (36) used for displaying the misoperation of the decontaminating unit (10), which consists of three filters (20, 22, 24) for retaining particles, suspended materials (MES), colloidal substances and bacteria, and UVC radiation lamp (26) for destroying viruses. Pressure sensors (28, 30, 32) make it possible to measure a water pressure at the output of each filter and an UVmeter makes it possible to detect the UVC lamp misoperation. When the alarm controller receives an alarm signal from at least one pressure sensor or from the UVmeter, it closes a water closing means (38) arranged between the water source and decontaminating module.

  • Publication number: 20080257985
Abstract: The mist spraying device comprises: a mist spraying manifold (14) having a number of mist spraying nozzles; a source of liquid (10) that furnishes the liquid to be supplied to said mist spraying manifold, and; a pump (12) designed for furnishing pressurized liquid from said source to the mist spraying manifold. The device also comprises a particulate filter (16) that retains particles of a size larger than approximately 1? or comprises a charged particulate filter that retains colloidal particles and substances of a size larger than approximately 0.5? (16) while receiving the liquid coming from said source. The inventive device additionally comprises an ultrafiltration filter (18) that receives the liquid coming from the particulate filter for retaining microorganisms of a size larger than 0.2?, and comprises an ultraviolet radiation manifold (20), which receives the liquid coming from the ultrafiltration filter and which is designed for destroying the remaining microorganisms of a size smaller than 0.2?.

  • Publication number: 20080156901
Abstract: The invention concerns a humidifier comprising a fogging ramp (14), a water source (10) for feeding the humidifying manifold, a pump (12) adapted to supply water under high pressure to the humidifying manifold, at least one particulate filter (50, 52) retaining the particles having a size greater than about 1? and receiving water from the source, an ultrafiltration filter (18) receiving water from the particulate filter to retain microorganisms having a size greater than 0.2 ?m, and a UV-C manifold chamber (20) including one or more UV-C lamps arranged in quartz sheaths for receiving water from the ultrafiltration filter and adapted to destroy micro-organisms whereof the size is greater than 0.2 ?m. The device further comprises a metering pump (53) arranged next to the UV-C manifold chamber and regularly supplying biocidal or virucidal products to prevent a biofilm from being formed in the pipes between the pump and the humidifying manifold.

  • Patent number: 6050487
Abstract: Card reader for game machine with a memory (42) which contains a minimum credit value and receives the credit value available from a card. At each stage of the game, the available credit value varies. The available credit value is compared, on each transaction, with the minimum value. When the available credit value is less than the minimum value, a circuit (47) triggers seizure of the card. A reader of this type can operate by performing all transactions in a memory within the reader, only reading the card memory when the card is inserted into the reader and updating it when the card is ejected.

  • Patent number: 5706925
Abstract: A secured token comprises a token body and an antenna coupled to an integrated circuit. The outer surface of the token body has a non-recessed metallic region, such as an outer metal ring, which is disposed such that a metallic sound is generated when the secured token strikingly engages a metal object. The antenna and the integrated circuit are substantially disposed within the token body. The secured token advantageously makes a jingling sound similar to that of coins when a payout is made to a player, and has mechanical strength for protecting an electronic circuit placed in the secured token.

  • Patent number: 5697482
Abstract: The disclosure relates to games machines provided with electronic payment mechanisms. The conventional payment mechanism is replaced by a payment mechanism operating by means of tokens that are secured by contract-free detection and the machine is furthermore provided with a second payment mechanism operating by means of a chip card. Switching means make it possible to change over from the token-operated payment mechanism to the chip-card operated payment mechanism when a card such as this is inserted into the corresponding payment mechanism. This device makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the games machines.

  • Patent number: 5580310
Abstract: Gaming machines provided with mechanical counters according to the regulations, to which there is grafted an electronic payment mechanism working on the basis of a chip card. It consists in diverting a certain number of links of the units of the machine by the electronic payment mechanism to enable wagers to be placed and payments to be made through the chip card, without the receiving or issuing of tokens and, preferably, without the modifying of the contents of the TOTAL IN and TOTAL OUT counters. A downgraded version modifies the contents of these counters and the balance of the feeder box containing the coins is obtained by modifying the formula used to compute this balance. It enables the efficiency of gaming machines to be raised.
