  • Publication number: 20140150735
Abstract: The invention relates to a fluidized bed heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes forming a tube bundle. Each tube follows a vertical boustrophedon path. The tubes are supported by at least two vertical supporting devices placed on both sides of the tube bundle. Every vertical supporting device includes at least two vertical supports for fixing the tubes.

  • Patent number: 6779492
Abstract: The circulating fluidized bed reactor device comprising a reactor chamber delimited horizontally by walls, a centrifugal separator and a back pass for heat recovery The reactor device allows for the introduction of a fluidizing gas into the reactor chamber and for maintaining a fluidized bed of particles in said chambers. The gas to be dedusted is transferred from the reactor chamber into the separator, and the separated particles are discharged from the separator and the dedusted gas is transferred from the separator into the back pass. The reactor chamber and the separator both have a common wall with the back pass.

  • Patent number: 6126120
Abstract: A suspension cradle for supporting a hanging heat exchanger having vertical tubes, the heat exchanger including at least one heat-exchanger element having a plurality of tubes grouped together in the same plane and connected to a manifold at each of their ends, the cradle including two main beams situated parallel to and on either side of the manifold, and at least one transverse support fastened transversely to the main beams, the transverse support supporting the heat-exchanger element, wherein the transverse support is in the shape of an upside down triangular rafter truss, and wherein the heat-exchanger element bears down against the bottom portion of the truss at a joint portion where the two branches meet to form the tip of the truss.

  • Patent number: 5979367
Abstract: A dense fluidized bed exchanger includes a casing the vertical longitudinal walls of which consist of tubes conveying a heat-conducting fluid, the casing being divided lengthwise into chambers separated from each other by a baffle consisting of a wall consisting of tubes conveying a heat-conducting fluid. The vertical longitudinal walls consist of horizontal tubes and the baffle extends from the bottom wall of the casing to a height less than that of the latter and consists of superposed hairpin-shape transverse extensions of tubes of each of the vertical longitudinal walls disposed perpendicular to the tubes and extending to the opposite vertical longitudinal wall.
