  • Patent number: 6146616
Abstract: The invention concerns an antioxidant and/or antielastase composition containing lupine oil or one or several fractions thereof, its use in cosmetics, pharmaceutics and as food additive. More particularly it concerns a composition containing a mixture of lupine oil and wheat germ concentrate, preferably in a proportion of 70 wt. % of lupine oil and 38 wt. % of wheat germ concentrate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 24, 1998
Date of Patent: November 14, 2000
    Assignee: Laboratories Pharmascience
Inventors: Philippe Msika, Alain Rancurel, Marie-Georgette Montaudoin
  • Patent number: 5498411
Abstract: The invention relates to a food additive including the nonsaponifiable matter of avocado oil, wherein the nonsaponifiable matter has a increased amount of the fraction termed "fraction H". This nonsaponifiable matter of avocado oil is prepared by a process wherein the avocado fruit is heat-treated at a temperature of 80.degree. C. to 120.degree. C. for not less than four hours before extracting the oil and obtaining the nonsaponifiable matter.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 27, 1994
Date of Patent: March 12, 1996
    Assignee: Laboratoires Pharmascience
    Inventor: Alain Rancurel
  • Patent number: 5334290
Abstract: The invention relates to a molecular distillation apparatus of the type comprising a metallic conical rotor (12) rotatably driven and fed in its center with a liquid to be distilled, a vacuum bell (10) defining an enclosure housing the cone and means for inductively heating the rotor which are located beneath and in proximity to the latter.According to the invention, the heating means comprise at least two concentric inductors (100a, 100b, 100c) supplying different thermal power densities to homologous regions of the rotor and an inner inductor (100a) supplies a greater thermal power density to the rotor than the power density supplied to the rotor by an outer inductor (100c).The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing an assembly of a rotor and inductors for such an apparatus.

    Filed: November 21, 1991
Date of Patent: August 2, 1994
    Assignee: Expanchimie S.A.R.L.
Inventors: Jacques Nuns, Alain Girault, Alain Rancurel
  • Patent number: 5262163
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing the nonsaponifiable matter of avocado oil from the fruit, wherein the nonsaponifiable matter of avocado oil is separated and its content in one of its fractions termed H is improved by carrying out the heat treatment of the fruit before extracting the oil at a temperature of 80.degree. C. to 120.degree. C. for not less than four hours. It also relates to the nonsaponifiable matter obtained by the process and to medicinal products, cosmetics and food additives containing it.

Date of Patent: November 16, 1993
    Assignee: Laboratoires Pharmascience
    Inventor: Alain Rancurel
  • Patent number: 4760189
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of diamine-alcohols.The process according to the present invention relates to the preparation of compounds of the formula:R--NH--CH.sub.2 --CH(OH)--CH.sub.2 NH.sub.2in which R is a C.sub.1 to C.sub.30 alkyl radical, characterized in that ammonia is reacted with the compound of the formula: ##STR1## in which R has the meaning given above and X is a halogen atom.
    Type: Grant

    Inventors: Martine Mercier, Alain Rancurel
  • Patent number: 4314965
Abstract: A process of sterilization or decontamination of apparatus, characterized in that an aqueous solution containing at least 0.01% of a compound of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents a C.sub.5 -C.sub.14 n-alkyl radical in the form of the base or a salt thereof, is applied to the apparatus at a temperature in the range of 30.degree. to 120.degree. C. at atmospheric pressure. The process is suitable in particular for the sterilization of milk processing circulation equipment.
