The articulating mechanism (18) includes a ball (36) having a general hemispherical shape (38) and adapted to be fixed to the screen (12), a cage (46) defining a housing (48) for receiving the ball and having an annular edge (50) which makes frictional contact with the ball, a tie rod (64) interposed between the cage (46) and the ball (36), while resting substantially at the center (C) of the ball, to exert an elastic restoring force of a selected value which causes the ball to rest against the annular edge of the cage, and a tie rod passage (74) formed of a widened recess produced in the ball (36) and opening on the hemispherical surface (38) of the ball to allow clearance of the tie rod in the ball, whatever the position of the ball with respect to the cage.

Abstract: The invention concerns a computer room desk (1) comprising a frame (12), a shelf (24) mounted cantilevered at the front of the frame and a receptacle (40) for housing equipment (48) in the receptacle. The receptacle (40) is mounted tilting about a horizontal hinge pin (X-X) of the frame and it comprises an apron (42) forming an access door and a support (44) perpendicularly linked to the apron, substantially at the hinge pin, such that the receptacle (40) is capable of pivoting between an open position wherein the apron (42) extends horizontally forwards of the desk to provide a receiving space (46) for equipment (48) and a c position wherein the apron (42) is vertically upright and the equipment (48) lie on the support (44) and is retracted indside the frame (12). The invention is particularly applicable to banking institutions.

Abstract: A dynamic vacuum cleaning device permits continuous or intermittent extraction, aspiration and elimination of solid dusts and particles from a stationary or moving surface. The vacuum is created by forcing a gas at high velocity into a venturi. A tube extending from the venturi will have a negative pressure created therein, resulting in a suction. A brush may optionally be fitted to the end of the vacuum tube. An adjustable cam is provided to control the amount of suction. The device can be used for the vacuum cleaning of sensitive optical, phonic or delicate micromechanical apparatus.
