  • Patent number: 11794070
Abstract: An exercise system includes a housing, a drive motor, a drive member, a filter, and a fan. The housing defines an interior volume and has an intake and an outlet. The drive motor is positioned in the housing and is connected to the drive member. At least part of the drive member is positioned inside the housing and part of the drive member is outside the housing. The drive member is positioned through the outlet in the housing. The filter is in fluid communication with the intake, and the fan is in fluid communication with the intake and the filter. The fan provides a positive pressure in the interior volume of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20140287884
Abstract: A paddle exercise apparatus includes a rod, a handle, and a weight member. The a rod includes first and second ends and is configured for grasping by a first hand of a user at a location between the first and second ends. The handle is positioned at the first end of the rod and is configured for grasping by a second hand of the user. The weight member is mounted to the rod and adjustably positioned between the first and second ends of the rod to alter a resistance of the paddle exercise apparatus when the user moves the paddle exercise apparatus through a paddling motion.

  • Patent number: 8547387
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus are provided through which in some implementations a graphical object is generated around a mathematical boundary of a region of interest in an image. The graphical object has varying opacity in which a higher opacity in areas of the graphical object in close proximity to the boundary acts as a visual cue to indicate close proximity to the boundary, and lesser opacity in areas of the graphical object of more distant proximity to the boundary acts as a visual cue to indicate distant proximity to the boundary.

  • Patent number: 7207129
Abstract: A display panel for use on a golf cart is composed of layered transparent panels and frame members adhered together. Two transparent panels are separated by a set of spacer members to form a cavity between the transparent panels. The cavity is accessible via an opening at one end of the display panel and is sealed with a removable spacer member inserted between the transparent panels. Two frame members are adhered respectively to each of the two transparent panels. The display panel is mounted to the canopy supports of a golf cart with clamps attached to each end of the display panel.

  • Publication number: 20050050799
Abstract: A process for the gasification of low rank carbonaceous material, including the steps: (a) subjecting said low rank carbonaceous material to shearing stresses in order to cause attritioning of the microporous structure of said low rank carbonaceous material and release of water contained in the micropores; (b) continuing the shearing attritioning of step (a) until the low rank carbonaceous material forms into a plastic mass; (c) compacting the plastic mass of step (b) into compacted bodies; (d) heating the compacted bodies at temperatures sufficient to thermally decompose the compacted bodies to produce a reactive carbonaceous product; (e) reacting the reactive carbonaceous product with water vapour at a temperature sufficient to produce hydrogen and carbon monoxide containing gas.
