  • Publication number: 20240124361
Abstract: The disclosed technology generally relates dielectric materials and methods of forming the same, and more particularly to a combination of co-fireable dielectric materials that can be attached to each other without the use of adhesives. In an aspect, a composite article comprises a magnetic portion comprising a nickel zinc ferrite. The composite article additionally comprises a non-magnetic portion contacting the magnetic portion, the non-magnetic portion comprising a spinel-structured oxide comprising Mg2-xAl2xTi1-xO4 and having a dielectric constant between about 7 and 14, wherein 0<x?1.

  • Patent number: 11958778
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of low temperature co-fireable barium tungstate materials which can be used in combination with high dielectric materials, such as nickel zinc ferrite, to form composite structures, in particular for isolators and circulators for radiofrequency components. Embodiments of the material can include flux, such as bismuth vanadate, to reduce co-firing temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20240090763
Abstract: An apparatus and system for monitoring and treating cataracts, the apparatus comprising: a monitoring light source configured to monitor cataracts by emitting monitoring light in the wavelength range of 350 to 410 nm to excite fluorescence light in the cataracts, a treating light source configured to treat cataracts by emitting treating light in the wavelength range of 400 to 570 nm to irradiate the cataracts, a wavelength selection system configured to monitor cataracts by selecting wavelengths of the excited fluorescence light in the cataracts and a dichroic beam splitter configured to reflect the monitoring light and the treating light towards the cataracts and the excited fluorescence light in the cataracts towards the wavelength selection system, wherein the monitoring light, the treating light and the excited fluorescence light are reflected by the dichroic beam splitter along a common optical axis and wherein the dichroic beam splitter is arranged at 45 degrees to the common optical axis to transmit wa

  • Patent number: 11936088
Abstract: A method of forming a composite material for use as an isolator or circulator in a radiofrequency device comprises providing a low temperature fireable outer material, the low fireable outer material having a garnet or scheelite structure, inserting a high dielectric constant inner material having a dielectric constant above 30 within an aperture in the low temperature fireable outer material, and co-firing the lower temperature fireable outer material and the high dielectric constant inner material together at temperature between 650-900° C. to shrink the low temperature fireable outer material around an outer surface of the high dielectric constant inner material to form an integrated magnetic/dielectric assembly without the use of adhesive or glue.

  • Publication number: 20090184506
Abstract: A flexural mount device for securing a mountable structure to a base structure, comprising a main body portion of first thickness, with front and back surfaces, an intermediate portion with front and back surfaces, wherein the intermediate portion back surface is substantially coplanar with and extends from the back surface of the main body portion, and an end portion with front and back surfaces, the end portion back surface being substantially coplanar with and extending from the back surface of the intermediate portion, the intermediate and end portions having a second thickness smaller than the first thickness, the intermediate portion being sufficiently flexible so that the end portion can be folded back toward the main body portion so that the intermediate portion has an arcuate profile for corresponding circumferential contact with the base structure, the intermediate and end portions including an elongate channel opening therein and the main body portion being adapted for fastening of the mountable st
