  • Patent number: 9791250
Abstract: A carrier for spare ammunition magazines for rifles. The carrier includes a shell that receives the magazine, a latch mechanism that releasably retains the magazine in the shell, and a connector that attaches the carrier body to an article that is worn or that is carried by the user. The latch mechanism may engage an axial protrusion on an end of a rotary-type magazine or may engage a recess in a side of a box-type magazine. The latch mechanism may be spring biased so that when depressed by a finger the magazine drops out a bottom of the carrier. The connector may be, for example, a clip that attaches to a belt or other article that is worn by a user or a clamp that attaches to an accessory rail or other part of a firearm that is carried by a user.

  • Patent number: 7975420
Abstract: An apparatus for detachably joining together a plurality of individual ammunition magazines to form a multiple magazine assembly in which the individual magazines are alternately insertable into the firearm. The apparatus includes a connector block with outwardly-directed mounting faces having locating features that form a sliding engagement with recesses in the bases of the magazines. A coupling piece mounts to an end of the connector block and includes projecting tab portions that enter cooperating recesses in the forward sides of the magazine so as to hold the magazines in place on the mounting faces of the connector block. An adjuster screw can be loosened to withdraw the retaining tabs so that the individual magazines can be placed or removed from the mounting faces of the connector block, and then tightened to hold the magazines firmly against the connector block to complete the assembly. The connector block may be triangular with mounting faces for three magazines.

  • Patent number: 5769290
Abstract: A wrist band assembly constructed of hook-and-loop fabric material. A first strap member has loop surfaces of the hook-and-loop fabric on its upper and lower sides, and the second strap member has first and second leg portions which define a gap for receiving the first strap member. The two legs of the second strap member have hook surfaces of the hook-and-loop fabric material thereon, for engaging the upper and lower sides of the first strap member when the latter is sandwiched between the two legs of the second strap member. The first strap member is preferably formed by folding a strip of the loop layer of the fabric back upon itself and bonding the two sides together while the second strap member is preferably formed by folding a strip of the hook layer of material so that the hook surfaces face one another. Sleeve portions at the folds provide connection points for attaching the wristwatch or other article.
