  • Patent number: 10595645
Abstract: The invention provides an improved mattress for sleeping which is to be filled with sand to recreate a sleep experience predating the invention of the modern spring-type, or bladder-type mattress (i.e. air or water-filled). For example, by filling the mattress with sand, it recreates the essence of sleeping on the earth itself. The mattress is composed of a hollow, fillable shell, the bottom and sides of which are constructed from a single piece of heavy duty, durable synthetic fabric; the top panel (or sleeping surface) is constructed from natural fiber fabric.

  • Publication number: 20180144829
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving member intake information for a member of a health plan including a first set of medical diagnoses; applying one or more targeting rules to the received member intake information; determining a risk score for the member; identifying the member for participation in a health risk assessment; receiving, from a client device used by a health care provider, health risk assessment information that is collected during the health risk assessment that is conducted by the health care provider; retrieving medical diagnosis information that is based on an analysis of the health risk assessment information; and transmitting risk adjustment payment information that is at least partly based on the medical diagnosis information, with the risk adjustment payment information comprising information that promotes determination of a risk adjustment payment.

  • Publication number: 20150310462
Abstract: A research system and method that determines the polarity or consensus of an issue by gathering and analyzing positions and opinions about the issue from respondents. The respondents provide a position expressed on a Likert scale, and an opinion through a narrative opinion. Based on the positive or negative status of the position and the opinion, a collection of statements categorized into opinion cases is formed. The respondents also provide a second position based on the opinion cases. In essence, an independent, anonymous second position on an initial position is gathered from each respondent. This creates a synergy of anonymous interaction between the respondents. The repetitive review of positions amongst the respondents helps form an enhanced picture on the issue, especially the polarity of the issue. The positions and opinions are also efficacious for matching respondents with one another based on stated positions and voting patterns.

  • Patent number: 8983856
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes, in one aspect, identifying, in a data repository, (i) information indicative of a health care provider who is assigned to a pre-defined calling zone, and (ii) radius information; accessing scheduling information that comprises a plurality of time slots, wherein each time slot corresponds to a time for the health care provider to perform the health risk assessment; selecting, by one or more computer systems, a particular slot from the scheduling information; for the selected slot, applying a geo-dialing algorithm to candidate information that is indicative of one or more members of one or more health plans who are candidates for scheduling in the selected time slot; identifying, based on application of the geo-dialing algorithm, a candidate with a geographic location that is a decreased distance from a geographic location of the health care provider; and causing a call to be placed to the identified candidate.

  • Patent number: 7878240
Abstract: A downhole swaging system includes, a tubular having an area of strength with a different resistance to swaging as compared to areas of the tubular outside of the area of strength, and a swaging tool. The swaging tool has a first swage, and a second swage with an adjustable swaging dimension, the second swage is in functional communication with the first swage such that the adjustable swaging dimension is adjusted in response to the first swage encountering a change in resistance to swaging.
