    Abstract: The invention provides a multi-compartment container for storing and dispensing separately a plurality of consumable liquids that can be mixed in an accurate and repeatable manner. Each storage compartment within the container encloses a predetermined quantity of a consumable liquid, wherein the first compartment is filled with a first liquid and the other compartments are filled with second and third liquids. The individual storage compartments are structurally merged to form elongated dispensing compartments each with a first end and a second end, wherein a one-way outlet positioned at the first end and a one-way outlet located at the second end permits passage of liquid from the storage compartments into the corresponding dispensing compartments. Upon fully inverting the container, the designated outlet of each dispensing compartment is opened, wherein precise amounts of liquids in the first, second, and third compartments are dispensed at constant volume ratio using gravity.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a holster for a chemical tear gas projector having an elongated body with opposite first and second end portions and an intermediate portion therebetween. The first end portion carries a receptacle for receiving the projector. The second end portion is folded to extend behind and parallel the intermediate and first end portions to define an opening for receiving a belt. Projections carried by the second end portion interlock with recesses on the intermediate portion to define the extent of the opening and assist in preventing rotational or swinging movement of the holster relative to the belt portion received through the opening. Additional projections are carried by the holster body and are removable whereby the size of the opening can be adjusted to accommodate belts of different sizes.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an electrical contact system for a night vision optical instrument having a cylindrical housing body intermediate an objective lens and an ocular. An intensifier tube is carried within the body for relative movement therebetween whereby the objective lens carried by the body and the intensifier tube are longitudinally adjustable relative to one another. Electrical leaf contacts, one of which is electrically connected to a battery carried by the housing body, are carried by and extend into the path of movement of the intensifier tube. The distal ends of the leaf contacts are maintained in electrical contact with electrical terminals on the end face of the intensifier tube throughout the range of relative movement between the intensifier tube and housing body.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a stop system for the focus of an optical instrument having a housing carrying an objective lens. The housing has an outer body tube slidably containing a coaxial inner tube forming the housing for an imaging device. A focusing nut is secured to the inner tube against axial movement and is screw threaded to the outer tube whereupon rotation of the nut causes relative axial movement between the inner and outer tubes to focus the imaging device and objective lens relative to one another. The focusing nut has a reduced diameter short tube supporting a plurality of cascade rings. A support ring is carried by the inner tube adjacent the end of the support tube. The focusing and cascade rings carry axially projecting lugs at predetermined circumferential positions thereabout while the cascade and stop rings carry shoulders at predetermined circumferential positions thereabout.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an arrangement for mounting a rifle scope on a rifle barrel. The mounting includes a base having a pair of coplanar plates pivoted to one another about a vertical axis at one end and biased for movement away from one another. To one side of one plate is a mounting foot for securing the scope on the rifle. The other plate has an upstanding arcuate saddle received about a cylindrical body portion of the scope, the distal ends of the saddle being pivoted to the scope about a horizontal axis. An azimuth adjustment device serves to adjust the angle of the plates relative to one another about the vertical axis. An elevation adjustment device lies to one side of the scope above its base for adjusting the angle of the scope about the horizontal axis relative to the base. By offsetting both the elevational and azimuth adjustment devices, the foregoing mounting structure enables the scope to lie in close superposition to the rifle barrel.

The attachment includes a cutter selectively extensible into and retractable from the path of movement of the projectile through the barrel.

    Abstract: A launching tube accommodating a projectile and a propellant charge containing percussion cap or primer is mounted on a handle; releasably retained in position by magnetic means or a mechanical detent. The handle contains a spring powered firing pin adapted to strike the percussion cap, igniting the propellant charge to launch the projectile. The launching tube is provided with one or more gas vent ports which are normally covered by pressure sensitive tape for long range launchings. Removal of the tape vents a portion of the propellant gases for short range launchings. The firing pin is permitted a limited degree of over travel beyond the point of impact with the precussion cap or primer to absorb recoil and to automatically eject the launching tube.

    Abstract: The illuminated reticle projection system includes a frame comprised of an annulus for mounting the frame about the objective lens assembly of a night vision device and a reticle projector for projecting a reticle image through the objective lens assembly for coincidence with the image focus at an image plane. The projector includes a light emitting diode which illuminates a reticle mask and projects a reticle image through a projection lens into the entrance pupil of the objective lens. The projector is carried by an elevation platform connected to an azimuth platform for pivotal movement in a vertical plane about a horizontal axis. The azimuth platform is, in turn, connected to the frame for pivotal movement in a horizontal plane about a vertical axis.
