  • Patent number: 10824761
Abstract: Systems and techniques for facilitating digital data prognostics are presented. A system can processes a corpus of stored data, generate respective digital signatures representing respective subsets of the corpus of the stored data, and tag the respective digital signatures with tags corresponding to extrinsic events. The digital signatures can be stored and indexed in a digital signature library. The system can also compare a new digital signature to learned digital signatures in order to identify one or more matches, and prognose an upcoming event associated with the new digital signature based on the matches and generated inferences for the learned digital signatures.

  • Patent number: 10784769
Abstract: A power conversion circuit includes a plurality of solid-state switches coupled between an input terminal and a ground. An output terminal is positioned between two of the plurality of solid-state switches and an inductor is coupled between the output terminal and a load. A capacitor is coupled in parallel with two of the serially connected solid-state switches. A controller controls the plurality of solid-state switches to generate a current in the inductor by repetitively (1) charging the capacitor causing a temporary increase in the current in the inductor, (2) entering a first wait state that configures the plurality of solid-state switches to maintain the capacitor in a charged state, (3) discharging the capacitor causing a temporary increase in the current in the inductor and (4) entering a second wait state that configures the plurality of solid-state switches to maintain the capacitor in a discharged state.

  • Patent number: 10728699
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for delivering location-based services, wherein the location-based services may include storing data defining a plurality of physical locations and a plurality of geofences associated with the physical locations, monitoring a current location of a user device, comparing the current location of the user device with each of the geofences, and determining based on the comparison that the current location of the user device is within a particular geofence. Rankings are assigned to the physical locations associated with the particular geofence based on various criteria, including, for example, distances between the user device and the physical locations, user interactions with the physical locations, user preferences, demographics, or consumer purchase history. User-selectable icons corresponding to the physical locations are output at the user device, wherein the positions of the user-selectable icons in an interface are determined based on the assigned rankings.

  • Patent number: 10721587
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for delivering location-based services. Data defining a plurality of geofences and categories relating to points of interest is stored. A current location of a user device is monitored, and is compared with each of the plurality of geofences. Based on the comparison, the user device is determined to be within a geofence associated with one or more points of interest. One or more particular points of interest are identified from among those associated with the geofence based on a user-selected category. Links associated with the particular points of interest are output at an interface of the user device, wherein a selection of a particular link directs a web browser of the user device to a web resource associated with at least one of the particular points of interest.

  • Patent number: 10708712
Abstract: A method and system for presenting location-based alerts on mobile devices is discussed. The method includes tracking user locations of users based on mobile device locations of mobile devices associated with the users. The mobile device locations can be determined based on location data transmissions from the mobile devices, with respective transmission lengths based on user preferences. The method includes presenting an interactive map interface for display on a first mobile device of a first user. The interactive map interface can display, based on the tracking, names of locations and the user locations. The interactive map interface can display pictures, each associated with a respective location or a user. In response to a determination, based on the tracking, that a second mobile device of a second user has arrived at a location defined by a geofence, a location notification can be pushed to the first mobile device.

  • Patent number: 10622890
Abstract: A switched-mode power regulator circuit has four solid-state switches connected in series and a capacitor and an inductor that regulate power delivered to a load. The solid-state switches are operated such that a voltage at the load is regulated by repetitively (1) charging the capacitor causing a current to flow in the inductor and (2) discharging the capacitor causing current to flow in the inductor. The power regulator circuit may be configured to operate with zero current switching at frequencies in the range of 100 MHz, enabling it to be fabricated on a unitary silicon die along with the load that it powers.
