    Abstract: A handheld carrier having a pull-out storage pocket which is accessible from the interior and exterior of the carrier. The pull-out pocket is pivotally secured to a side wall of the carrier such that the pocket can be pivoted outward to permit access to the pocket from the exterior of the carrier and inward to permit access to the pocket from the interior of the carrier. The pull-out pocket may be incorporated within any conventional configuration of handheld carrier including purses, handbags, briefcases and handheld luggage.
