Abstract: Novel tools and techniques for acoustic array detection and imaging are provided. A system includes an acoustic array comprising one or more array panels. Each of the one or more array panels includes a transceiver array of one or more acoustic transceivers, each acoustic transceiver further including a transmitter element configured to generate sound and a receiver element to capture sound. A driver circuit is coupled to a first transceiver array of a first array panel of the one or more array panels, the driver circuit configured to drive individually each transmitter element and each receiver element of the first transceiver array. A controller interface is coupled to the driver circuit, and a controller coupled to the controller interface.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques for GPU code generation and debugging are provided. A system includes a GPU, graphics memory coupled to the graphics processing unit, a processor; and non-transitory computer readable media comprising instructions executable by the processor to define, via an asset file, one or more shader functions of a GPU programming language extend the first programming language to include the one or more shader functions defined in the asset file, instantiate a first programming language based on the one or more asset files, receive, via an interface of the code editor, code written in the first programming language for a first program, and generate a GPU executable binary of the first program.

Abstract: The portable self-contained horizontal and vertical level, angle and distance measuring device is suitable for indicating whether or when two or more points are level with each other and for measuring distances and angles between two or more points, a point and a line or a point and a plane. Moreover, the measuring device is capable of displaying such measurements to a user in real time. The measuring device includes a measuring point (3) for identifying from where measurements are to be calculated, a user actuated trigger (11) and a display (9) for displaying measurements to the user either in real time or in memory mode. The measuring device is compact and light-weight making it particularly convenient and portable. It is also very versatile and is capable of replacing a multiplicity of measuring devices commonly employed in DIY, engineering, and in trade in general.

Abstract: An automatic electric battery charging apparatus which includes terminating means comprising a bistable circuit having set and reset conditions, means for supplying a control signal dependent on battery voltage on charge through a capacitor to an input of the bistable circuit, so as to set the circuit when the battery voltage increases, capacitor charge adjusting means operative when the bistable circuit is set, for supplying current to the capacitor to adjust the charge of the latter until it re-sets the bistable circuit, a timer arranged to be reset by the bistable circuit in its set state, and means to terminate the charge or reduce the average charging current if the timer is not reset within a predetermined time. Thus the input potential to the bistable has a sawtooth waveform while the bistable is reset the capacitor charge remains unaltered, so that the bistable input potential follows that of the battery until the bistable is set.
