  • Publication number: 20060093766
Abstract: A sheet material including a strainable network formed in the surface of the sheet material. The strainable network includes first network areas and second network areas, the first network areas substantially surrounding the second network areas. The second network areas include geometrically deformable elements, and the first network areas define substantially unformed portions of the sheet material surrounding the second network areas. The deformable elements are geometrically deformable in plural directions generally parallel to the plane of the sheet material to provide the sheet material with a stretchable elastic-like characteristic in response to elongation forces applied to the sheet material in plural directions.

  • Publication number: 20050244085
Abstract: A tie bag includes a hem seal, at the mouth of the bag, which grips the top of a receptacle, when the tie bag is used as a liner for the receptacle, to preclude having the mouth of the bag fall into the receptacle. The hem seal forms a hem flap, which is cut in a geometric pattern to provide tie fasteners. The hem seal may also form a hem at the open mouth of the tie bag. The tie bag may further include a pair of secondary hem seals closing the hem at the opposing sides of the sidewalls.

  • Publication number: 20050245376
Abstract: The closure device (121) includes interlocking fastening strips (130, 131) and a slider (132) slidably disposed on the fastening strips for facilitating the occlusion and deocclusion of the fastening strips (130, 131) when moved towards first and second ends thereof. A slider (132) is provided for facilitating the attachment of the slider (132) onto the fastening strips (130, 131) in the horizontal X axis (102). The slider (132) provides resistance against the removal of the slider (132) from the fastening strips (130, 131) in the horizontal X axis (102) and the vertical Z axis (106).

  • Publication number: 20050224498
Abstract: A ventable spin lock container comprising a container member having a bottom, an upper annular rim and a substantially continuous side wall extending from the bottom and terminating at the rim, the bottom and side wall defining a first member cavity, the rim including a first member skirt having a plurality of first threads, the plurality of first threads having substantially equidistant engagement points; and a closure member having a peripheral sealing portion, the sealing portion including a skirt having a plurality of second threads adapted and positioned to cooperate with the first threads, wherein sealable engagement of the container member and closure member is effectuated when the first and second threads are in a first position, and wherein a venting passage from the container member cavity to the container surroundings is provided when the first and second threads are in a second position.

  • Publication number: 20050194390
Abstract: A stackable container lid comprising a lid member (80) having a center portion (83a), an edge portion (83b) top and bottom surfaces (82, 84) and closure means (88) adapted to cooperate with the closure device of a container bottom, the lid top surface (82) including a raised boss (100), the raised boss (100) being disposed in the lid member center portion (83a) and projecting outwardly from the lid member top surface (82), the lid bottom surface (84) including a boss seat (108) adapted to receive the raised boss (100) of another said lid. The raised boss (100) and the boss seat (108) of another said lid are engagable by exerting a force on the lid top surface (82) of said another lid proximate the raised boss (100) of said another lid.
