  • Publication number: 20240108844
Abstract: A humidification system can include a heater base, a humidification chamber, and a breathing circuit. A cartridge can be removably coupled to the heater base. The cartridge can include various sensors, probes, sensor wire connectors, heater wire connectors, and/or other features. The cartridge can include features configured to mate with corresponding features on the humidification chamber and the heater base. The cartridge includes a memory, such as an EEPROM, or other suitable storage device. When the cartridge is installed on the heater base, the memory is electrically connected to a processor and/or memory of the heater base. Various models of cartridges can be produced for use with different humidification chambers, breathing circuits, and/or therapies. A connector can be configured to couple an inspiratory conduit to an outlet port of the humidification chamber. The connector can provide a pneumatic connection to the outlet port and an electrical connection to the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 8214418
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and system for combining multiple coefficient words using only the magnitude bits of each of the coefficient words and using the sign bits of each of the coefficient words to modify the output of the combined magnitude bits. Using this method and/or system, it is possible to implement, for example, digital filters using larger coefficient word sizes without having to incur the inefficiencies and cost associated with using additional hardware resources, while maintaining an acceptable gain error in the filter response.

  • Publication number: 20060137949
Abstract: A case for transporting shoes is disclosed which comprises front and back walls, top and bottom walls, and first and second side walls which define a chamber. The front and back walls, top and bottom walls and the first side wall are formed as an integral structure. The second side wall is hinged proximate the bottom wall to permit the second side wall to move from a closed position to an open position to permit access to the chamber. The chamber comprises a plurality of compartments for receiving shoes. The case includes two hooks which are disposed in substantially parallel relationship to one another and which can move from a retracted to an extended position for hanging the case. Transportation of the case is facilitated by wheels mounted proximate the intersection of the back and bottom walls, and by a handle which is movable from a retracted position inside the case to an extended position out the top of the case.
