Patent number: 11178957Abstract: A backpack includes a frame system. The frame system has two L-shaped members, one or more cross bars, and an attachment bar. A pack has a base, a rear wall, a front wall, two side walls, and a closable lid. The pack also has shoulder straps disposed at the rear wall and a pair of elongated channels on the rear wall. The pack removably couples to the frame system by inserting a long leg of each of the L-shaped members into the respective elongated channel. When the pack is coupled to the frame, the base of the pack is supported on two short legs of the L-shaped members, the frame system is on an exterior of the pack, and the attachment bar can removably couple to either end of the two L-shaped members. An insert is sized and shaped to be removably inserted within an interior volume of the pack.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2019Date of Patent: November 23, 2021Assignee: Steele Industries II, LLCInventor: Nathan Alan Steele

Patent number: 7127501Abstract: A system and method for providing a collaborative work environment includes servers and client workstations. Client workstations receive data objects from one or more servers and combine the received data objects with stored templates to render HTML pages representing at least a portion of a common project. Users may view, edit, and create common documents for the projects and upload them to the server using a drag-and-drop interface. Additionally, since all file transfers take place using HTTP, project groups can span corporate organizations as well as time zones and geographic boundaries.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2000Date of Patent: October 24, 2006Assignee: eRoom Technology, Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Beir, Melissa Leffler, Glenn McDonald, Andy Dennie, Paul Kleppner, Neal Finnegan, Craig Morrissey, Alan Steele, Patrick Crowley, Pito Salas

Patent number: 6895033Abstract: A first sequence state storage module (20) periodically stores a present state (22) of a long code generator (30). Following a restoration of power after a power cut condition, or following the termination of any other interruption of the generation of the long code, a sequence recovery module (50) then provides an updated present state (36). The updated present state (36) is based upon a stored present state (24) and a time value (52) that is reset whenever the present state (22) of the long code or other sequence is stored and that is available even when the long code or other sequence is interrupted.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2000Date of Patent: May 17, 2005Assignee: Motorola Inc.Inventors: Brian Storm, Scott Alan Steele, Jeremy Jacobson, Richard Koss, William P. Alberth, Jr., Sabrina Bahadori

Patent number: 6564047Abstract: A system and method of communications usage management for multiple networked devices such as cellular telephones in a telecommunications network. A management database is provided for storing communications attributes for at least one networked device. The stored communications usage attributes serve as criteria for regulating access of the networked devices to the system. The users of the devices may purchase a quantity of transferable units, such as usage minutes over the system network, with the units being redeemable for goods and/or services on the system, thus facilitating transfer of units between users. A user interface is provided as a system management device for accessing the management database to configure the communications usage attributes for defining the transfer and usage criteria. Communications usage software operable with the network devices computes usage times to provide an accounting of usage and regulation in accordance with the management database.Type: GrantFiled: August 28, 2000Date of Patent: May 13, 2003Assignee: Motorola Inc.Inventors: Scott Alan Steele, Jeremy Jacobson, Brett Murdock, William P.
