  • Patent number: 8387171
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a microflush urinal that includes a piece of chinaware in fluid communication with a pre-existing water supply and a waste removal conduit. A valve means in electrical communication with each of a sensor means and a fluid manifold effects delivery of incoming fluid to a water delivery means. The water delivery means is desirably a nozzle means selected from one of a plurality of fluidic nozzles that delivers pressurized water through an ingress defined in a rear wall of the chinaware. The nozzle desirably oscillates water for full coverage of the urinal's rear and side walls. A tarp portion that aesthetically obstructs the ingress assumes a generally scalloped shape to optimize the water distribution along the urinal's rear and side walls. At least one trough is integrated into one or more urinal sidewalls to guide water from the nozzle toward the waste removal conduit.

  • Patent number: 8038372
Abstract: A holesaw mandrel assembly has a mandrel body with a first end to be coupled with a drill motor and a second end extending from the body. The second end receives a holesaw. A housing covers a portion of the mandrel. A first member is coupled with the housing and moves between a first and second position. A friction surface is on the first member. The friction surface is adapted to contact the holesaw such that upon contact with the friction surface, the holesaw is fixed in position. The friction surface moves between a first contact position and a second release position. A mechanism coupled with the housing moves the friction face between the first and second positions.

  • Publication number: 20110089218
Abstract: An anchor installation tool has an elongated driving member with a body portion and a head portion. A retaining mechanism retains the anchor installation to the drill bit. The mechanism has a housing on the body portion with a pair of bias lugs that project through the body portion to contact the drill bit. An anchor guide slides on the body and head portion and has a holding member to hold an anchor. The anchor is held in the anchor guide and a drill bit is inserted into the driving member. Axial movement of the drill bit is transferred into axial movement of the driving member. The movement strikes the anchor and ejects the anchor from the anchor guide into a surface.

  • Patent number: 7921844
Abstract: A drug inhaler of the type having an air jet entraining liquid medicine at an entrainment region from a medicine reservoir and nebulize or atomize entrained liquid by impacting a liquid medicine-laden air jet on a flat surface, and deliver the atomized medicine to a patient via a medicine delivery channel. A breath-activated fluidic switch has a power nozzle coupled to a source of air under pressure. The fluidic breath-activated switch has a pair of diverging legs, one of the diverging legs has a control port connected to sense inhalation of the patient, the other of the legs is coupled to the medicine entrainment region, whereby the entrainment of medicine at the medicine entrainment region is prevented by air supplied to the medicine entrainment region from the other of the legs in the absence of sensed patient inhalation at the control port. The fluidic control port is located downstream of the power nozzle a predetermined distance downstream of the wall attachment point.

  • Patent number: 7134609
Abstract: An oscillating spray device comprising an oscillation chamber. A power nozzle for projecting a jet of liquid under pressure into the oscillation chamber in a given direction. A reversing member in the chamber has a reversing wall for reversing the direction of flow of the fluid jet in a direction 180° opposite the given direction. A system of vortices is formed thereby for alternately passing fluid to one side or the other of the reversing member. A pair of passages, one on each side of the reversing member, convey alternate pulses of fluid through the passageways in the given direction past the reversing member to an outlet to ambient, and an island barrier positioned in the outlet to ambient and forming two separate passageways to the outlet and a third passageway between the reversing member and the island barrier. The spray characteristics can be adjusted by changing the spacing between the reversing member and island barrier.
