Abstract: Microcapsules having a hydrophobic core material and capsule walls formed by the reaction of water-insoluble polyamines with water-soluble bisulphite adducts of polyisocyanates, a process for the production thereof which is characterized in that a mixture of a hydrophobic core material and water-insoluble polyamines is emulsified in water or in an aqueous protective colloid solution to the required particle size, water-soluble bisulphite adducts of polyisocyanates in the form of powders or aqueous solutions are added and the mixture is left to react to completion at temperatures of from 1.degree. to 140.degree. C., and applications thereof.

Abstract: The instant invention is directed to thermoplastic chemical material comprising:(A) from 60 to 97%, by weight, based on (A)+(B), of a thermoplastic polyurethane; and(B) from 40 to 3%, by weight, based on (A)+(B), of a fibrous reinforcing material; and(C) from 36 to 3 parts, by weight, based on 100 parts of (A)+(B), of a polar polymer.The instant invention is also directed to a process for the production of the thermoplastic chemical materials.

Abstract: The instant invention is directed to a thermoplastic synthetic material, comprising:(A) 75 to 97% by weight of a thermoplastic polyurethane and(B) 25 to 3% by weight of a polymer of olefinically unsaturated monomers, wherein component (B) is a graft product of(a) 5 to 35% by weight, based on the graft product, of one or more graft monomers on(b) 65 to 95% by weight, based on the graft product, of an elastomer component serving as graft base which has a second order transition temperature of below -30.degree. C.,the entire component (B) containing less than 50% by weight of the monomers styrene, .alpha.-methyl styrene and acrylonitrile. The instant invention is also directed to a process for the production of the thermoplastic synthetic materials.
