  • Patent number: 8024866
Abstract: A height recording system includes a telescopic rule formed from a head and a telescopic assembly used to vary a distance between one support end forming a base for the telescopic assembly and an upper end supporting the head. The height recording system comprises: a measurement system that measures the distance; a receiver including photosensitive cell(s) to detect an optical beam output from a laser system; a module starts or validates a height measurement by the measurement system starting the measurement or the validation in response to the module receiving a determined signal from the receiver; the determined signal being representative of the laser beam being detected by one of the photosensitive cells.

  • Patent number: 7856727
Abstract: The system is used to determine the position of a tool mounted on a digging machine. It includes a monitoring appliance and several independent position-detecting devices each including a face equipped with attachment elements to be held flush against an articulated component of the machine, a wireless communication module remotely sending data to the monitoring appliance, an independent electrical power supply source, a processing unit, and an electronic module with angular position sensors. The devices are distributed so that each is on a different articulated part of the machine. They need no cables, and are easy to fit. The signals emitted by the devices are received by the monitoring appliance, which calculates a setpoint for positioning the tool.

  • Patent number: 7152334
Abstract: The invention relates to a support frame positioning a laser beam level and comprises: a first support module 1 inclusive a reference element 10 that can be positioned against a planar surface and enganging elements 11 located in a longitudinal direction A1 to cooperate with a second support module 2 displaceable relative to the first support module 1, bracing means 22 on the second support module 2 to support a laser beam type level 3 and a motor 25 to power a drive shaft in either of two directions of rotation of at least one element translatable along the first support module 1, and a remote control for said motor 25. The support frame may be positioned in height on walss and allows automatically positioning the laser beam in the continuous and progressive manner FIG. 1.

  • Publication number: 20060107539
Abstract: A support frame for positioning a laser beam level includes a first support module having a reference element that can be positioned against a planar surface and elongated engaging elements that cooperate with a second support module that is displaceable relative to the first support module. A brace on the second support module supports a laser beam level. A motor drives a drive shaft of at least one element that is translatable along the first support module in both directions of rotation. The motor can be remotely controlled. The support frame can be positioned at different heights on walls and allows automatic positioning of the laser beam in a continuous and progressive manner.

  • Patent number: 6871408
Abstract: A self-contained laser generator uses a laser diode and a mirror to generate a laser light beam, split it into two parts, and generate perpendicular beams of laser light. One of more mirrors are useful for receiving light and splitting it into two beams. An internal motor then rotates the mirrors and one of the beams becomes a rotating laser light, useful for aligning objects in a horizontal or vertical direction. The other beam may be used to locate and orient the rotating laser line generator in a different plane.

  • Patent number: 6688011
Abstract: A modular laser level determination system includes a laser beam generator in a housing, fixed to a positioner. The laser beam is oriented towards a central shaft inside the housing that is not closed off by any obstacles and passes through a collimator. A rotation drive module of an optical assembly comprises at least one reflection plane. The rotation drive module extends in a direction coaxial with the center line of the laser beam. The rotation drive module comprises a brushless motor with electronic switching, a hollow shaft, and a stator fixed to an element fixed in rotation. The stator can be tilted by a module for determination and adjustment of the inclination with respect to a reference place. The laser beam generator is fixed to the brushless motor.
