Publication number: 20230146108Abstract: An apparatus for separating a sawn timber package cut from a log into main and side products during longitudinal transport thereof, having at least one separating device positioned such that, during a feed motion of the sawn timber package, it engages in a sawing gap between single- or multi-cut main product and side product and deflects the side product in a direction leading away from the main product. Two rotatably mounted conical rollers form the separating device, each having a circumferential separating edge formed by two surfaces of revolution enclosing an acute angle, and the two conical rollers are arranged on both sides of the sawn timber package and oriented such that they engage laterally into the sawing gap with respective separating edges and roll on the main product with their first surface of revolution, while deflecting the side product from the main product with their second surface of revolution.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2022Publication date: May 11, 2023Applicant: Gebrüder Linck, Maschinenfabrik "Gatterlinck" GmbH & Co. Patent number: 9531255Abstract: A driver circuit for powering a load is disclosed. The driver circuit includes an input for receiving for connection to a source of AC power, and a rectifier for converting the AC power from the input into DC power. The driver circuit also include a voltage bus filter, a high-frequency oscillator for generating a high-frequency AC signal, a resonant driver, a feedback circuit, and a high-frequency DC rectifier. The voltage bus filter smoothens the DC power from the rectifier, and includes at least one capacitor. The resonant driver is in electrical communication with the high-frequency oscillator, and limits a current of the high-frequency AC signal and produces a limited output voltage based on the high-frequency AC signal. The feedback circuit is in electrical communication with the resonant driver and the voltage bus filter, and maintains a charge on the capacitor of the voltage bus filter.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2015Date of Patent: December 27, 2016Assignee: TECHNICAL CONSUMER PRODUCTS, INC.Inventors: Timothy Chen, Daniel Albert Haas

Patent number: 9419537Abstract: A driver circuit for powering a load is disclosed. The driver circuit includes an input for connection to a ballast, a rectifier, a switch, and a fault circuit. The rectifier converts AC power received from the input into DC power. The rectifier includes a rectifier input. The switch is electrically connected to the rectifier input. The switch is activated to create a short circuit at the rectifier inputs in response to receiving an activation signal. The fault circuit is electrically connected to the switch. The fault circuit generates the activation signal in response to detecting at least one of an over voltage, an over temperature, and an over current condition of the driver circuit.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2015Date of Patent: August 16, 2016Assignee: TECHNICAL CONSUMER PRODUCTS, INC.Inventors: Daniel Albert Haas, Timothy Chen

Publication number: 20160205733Abstract: A driver circuit for powering at least one light emitting diode (LED) in a dimming application is disclosed. The driver circuit includes an input for connection to a source of dimmed AC power and a rectifier for converting the dimmed AC power from the input into DC power. The driver circuit also includes a voltage bus filter for smoothening the DC power from the rectifier. The voltage bus filter includes at least one capacitor. The driver circuit also includes a feedback circuit in electrical communication with the rectifier. The feedback circuit causes the rectifier to continuously draw current from the inputs of the driver circuit.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2015Publication date: July 14, 2016Applicant: TECHNICAL CONSUMER PRODUCTS, INC.Inventors: Timothy Chen, Daniel Albert Haas

Publication number: 20070288031Abstract: A cannulated offset drill guide and surgical methods for repairing Bankart lesions. The cannulated offset drill guide comprising a shaft which is offset from the guide center line by about 1 to 3 mm, more preferably of about 1.5 mm. The cannulated offset drill guide is provided at its proximal end with a concave clear tip which allows a surgeon to visualize the drill and the insertion of an anchoring device, for example a suture anchor. The concave clear tip has beveled, smooth edges to prevent damage to adjacent bone and tissue, and to avoid damage to the rubber dam of the cannula through which the offset drill guide is inserted. The configuration of the concave clear tip is designed to engage and match the generally convex-curve articulating face of the glenoid, and to precisely aligning the offset drill guide with the glenoid face. The clear tip may also be employed in a standard drill guide having a shaft which is not offset from the center line of the guide.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2007Publication date: December 13, 2007Inventors: Peter Dreyfuss, Albert Haas

Patent number: 5983967Abstract: The invention concerns a tool head for shaping machine designed to machine the side segments of tree trunks. The tool head has a rotationally driven main body (1) with several groups of chipper blades (2, 3) round its circumference. The front chipper blade (2) in each group and a front-mounted finishing tool, e.g. a segment (4) of a circular-saw blade, are mounted on a common tool carrier (5). The tool carrier (5) is detachably attached to the tool-head main body (1) and is held in place by clamps (16). If, as a result of wear, it becomes necessary to replace a tool, the tool carrier is replaced after the clamp (16) has been loosened.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1997Date of Patent: November 16, 1999Assignee: Gebruder Linck Maschinenfabrik "Gatterlinck"GmbH & Co. Patent number: 5675076Abstract: A piston-type internal combustion engine includes an engine cylinder; a piston slidably received in the engine cylinder; and a device, carried by the piston, for measuring deformations in the cylinder wall. The piston has at least two radial bores. The measuring device includes a separate carrier element disposed in each radial bore. The carrier elements are attached to the piston in a region of the piston axis such as to be displaceable relative to the radial bores, whereby a relative motion between the piston and each carrier element is provided upon radial expansion and contraction of the piston. The measuring device further includes a separate, electrically inductive path sensor, which is electrically connectable to a measuring and evaluating device, and which is attached to a respective carrier element such that the path sensor remains out of contact with the cylinder wall at all times during movement of the piston relative to the engine cylinder.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 1996Date of Patent: October 7, 1997Assignee: FEV Motorentechnik GmbH & Co.
