  • Publication number: 20230103638
Abstract: A method includes receiving training data comprising a plurality of pairs of images. Each pair comprises a noisy image and a denoised version of the noisy image. The method also includes training a multi-task diffusion model to perform a plurality of image-to-image translation tasks, wherein the training comprises iteratively generating a forward diffusion process by predicting, at each iteration in a sequence of iterations and based on a current noisy estimate of the denoised version of the noisy image, noise data for a next noisy estimate of the denoised version of the noisy image, updating, at each iteration, the current noisy estimate to the next noisy estimate by combining the current noisy estimate with the predicted noise data, and determining a reverse diffusion process by inverting the forward diffusion process to predict the denoised version of the noisy image. The method additionally includes providing the trained diffusion model.

  • Patent number: 11580554
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for selecting an optimal financial account for a financial transaction. In an embodiment, a multi-account payment card is used to initiate a financial transaction. Transaction information of the financial transaction including a multi-account payment card ID is transmitted to a server for processing. The server determines that the multi-account payment card ID is associated with a plurality of financial accounts, wherein each of the plurality of financial accounts is associated with any one of a credit card, a debit card, an automatic teller machine (ATM) card, a gift card, or a credit line. A financial account of the plurality of financial accounts is selected by the server based on financial account information, such as reward information, associated with the plurality of financial accounts and the transaction information of the financial transaction. The financial transaction is then charged to the selected financial account.

  • Publication number: 20230016071
Abstract: In a user device such as a smartphone, frequent display screen activation causes undesirable power consumption and other inconveniences to the user, such as taking out his smartphone from a pocket to look at its screen, which increases the chances of his smartphone being dropped or damaged. Based upon such problem recognition, the present inventor conceived various inventive features that allow user relevant information to be provided onto a so-called display slate, without having to activate the display screen of the user device. Such an interactive display platform allows for performing a wireless pairing operation between a user device and at least one display slate located in proximity to the user device, providing, on the display slate, user relevant information related to or received from the user device without the screen of the user device being activated, and allowing, via the display slate, the user to interact with the user relevant information provided thereon.
