Abstract: Methods and systems are provided. One example method includes providing a connection to the Internet for a vehicle via wireless connection circuitry associated with an on-board computer of the vehicle. The connection is used to communicate with a service, and a user account is assigned to a user and the user account is associated with settings of the user. The method includes providing communication, by the on-board computer, with a mobile device. The communication provides for pairing the mobile device with the on-board computer using credentials associated with the user account of the user. The method includes accessing, using the on-board computer, data from a mobile device application of the mobile device for rendering content to a display screen of the vehicle. At least some data accessed from the mobile device application is used to render said content to the display screen of the vehicle.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for cloud processing data streamed from a vehicle and a home (e.g., any location) associated with a user account. One method includes receiving a data stream from the vehicle entity, where the data stream from the vehicle entity includes metadata from one or more data producing objects of the vehicle entity. And, receiving a data stream from the home entity, where the data stream from the home entity includes metadata from one or more data producing objects of the home entity. The method includes accessing action conditions associated with a user account. The action conditions identify a position where at least one or more states of the metadata from each of the home entity and the vehicle entity intersect. And, each action condition identifies a type or types of control information to be processed. The method includes processing the received metadata from the vehicle entity and the home entity.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining an emotion of a human driver of a vehicle and using the emotion for generating a vehicle response, is provided. One example method includes processing captured voice data from the human driver over a period of time while the human driver operates the vehicle. The method includes analyzing the voice data to assist in prediction of the emotion of the human driver. The method includes generating the vehicle response. The vehicle response is selected in part based on the emotion that was predicted for the human driver.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer readable media are provided. One example method includes establishing a connection with a vehicle over a wireless network, and associating the vehicle to a user account of an online service, wherein a vehicle type for the vehicle is identified in the user account. The method further includes receiving vehicle data for vehicle status information. The vehicle status information is for one or more vehicle systems of the vehicle. The method includes accessing one or more databases that include diagnostics data for the vehicle type and crowd sourced data for the vehicle type. The method includes processing the vehicle data that is received against the diagnostics data and the crowed sourced data. The processing is configured to select an alert from among a plurality of possible alerts. The crowd sourced data is configured to influence a confidence level for selecting the alert. The method includes sending a notification of the alert to the user account.

Abstract: The remote monitoring and controlling of controllable devices is provided by sending control information to and receiving status information from information appliances over a network. A user is able to monitor the information appliances from a remote location, and control the information appliances from the remote location. The remote monitoring and control can be facilitated by graphical user interfaces. The information appliance can be a home lighting system, a home alarm system, a home entertainment system, a water gardening system, a home heating system, a home cooling system, and a television system having recording capabilities.
