Publication number: 20220266264Abstract: The invention relates to a centrifuge (10) with a housing (12), in which a rotor (32) for receiving a sample that is to be centrifuged is arranged. The rotor (32) is driven by the drive shaft (22) during operation of the centrifuge (10) and rotates about a rotation axis (30). The rotor (32) has a first, rotor-side transceiver unit, which is excited by an electric field, thus inducing voltage in the first transceiver unit (48). The first transceiver unit (48) is associated with a second, housing-side transceiver unit (62), which is connected to a voltage source. The two transceiver units (48, 62) are connected to a transceiver antenna (52, 64) each, and the transceiver units (48, 62) and the transceiver antennas (62, 64) are in each case arranged on an annular support (46, 60) concentrically with the rotation axis (30).Type: ApplicationFiled: August 6, 2020Publication date: August 25, 2022Applicant: Andreas Hettich GmbH & Co. Patent number: 6707509Abstract: A method for adjusting convergence in a projection television receiver, in which a marker contained in a projected image is adjusted by a manipulated variable to illuminate a photosensor arranged adjacent to the projection screen. The method employs two markers which are moved towards the sensor from opposite directions with a varying step size. The sensor supplies an output voltage indicating lighting by the two markers in conjunction with two mutually spaced manipulated variables. A mean value of the two manipulated variables is used as the manipulated variable for the marker.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2001Date of Patent: March 16, 2004Assignee: Thomson Licensing S.A.Inventors: Jacques Chauvin, Bernhard Malota, Albert Runtze

Patent number: 6671004Abstract: A method for convergence correction in a projection television display having a monochromatic tube for each of the three primary colors red, green and blue, whose images can be projected on a screen. Each tube has an associated deflection correction device which comprises a convergence circuit. Patent number: 6583814Abstract: For control and correction of deflection parameters especially of convergence, a grid pattern is displayed on the picture screen of a television device. For control of the convergence parameters and the evaluation of the correction values the crossing points of the grid pattern are marked by a cursor. The cursor is formed by at least one irregularity in the grid pattern being, regular otherwise. The irregularity may consist in an omission within the grid pattern like an interruption within one horizontal or vertical grid line. An image signal generator for the grid pattern with position cursor includes a raster generator, a grid generator, a cursor generator, and means for combining a grid signal from the grid generator and a cursor signal from the cursor generator so as to inhibit the grid signal corresponding to locations on the grid pattern where the position cursor is visible by an absence of display of portions of the grid pattern.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 1999Date of Patent: June 24, 2003Assignee: Thomson Licensing SAInventors: Albert Runtze, Fredrich Heizmann, Günter Gleim, John Barrett George

Patent number: 6486926Abstract: A memory and a switchable digital filter supply different numbers of digital distortion correction values. The supplied distortion correction values are converted to an analog distortion correction signal. A passive, analog low pass filter for the analog distortion correction signal generates an analog deflection signal. The low pass filter is optimized only for those of the analog deflection signals having a given sample rate. A controller varies the different numbers of the supplied distortion correction values to maintain the given sample rate of the analog deflection signal for different horizontal scanning rates. The controller selectively implements respective operating modes for different horizontal scanning frequencies in which no interpolated distortion correction values are supplied or different numbers of interpolated distortion correction values are supplied.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1999Date of Patent: November 26, 2002Assignee: Thomson Licensing S.A.Inventors: Friedrich Heizmann, John Barrett George, Gunter Gleim, Albert Runtze

Patent number: 6369780Abstract: In a video display, correction data for a digital convergence arrangement are stored in a first non-volatile memory. During power turn on procedure, the correction data are read out of and stored in a volatile memory. During each deflection cycle, the data stored in the volatile memory are successively read out and applied to an auxiliary convergence winding. When a parity error is detected in the read out data, an output and/or an input of a convergence amplifier is actively disabled to prevent a disturbance of a screen of the cathode ray tube.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 1999Date of Patent: April 9, 2002Assignee: Thomson Licensing S.A.Inventors: Gunter Gleim, Albert Runtze, Friedrich Heizmann

Patent number: 6292235Abstract: A switchable digital filter interpolates distortion correction values. The distortion correction values together with interpolated distortion correction values are supplied as an output. Proper operation of the digital filter is disturbed by transient signals occurring during horizontal retrace. The digital output is converted to an analog convergence correction signal. The digital to analog converter has an operating frequency and generates a transient signal during horizontal retrace as the operating frequency increases due to an increased horizontal scanning rate. A low pass filter receives the analog convergence correction signal and generates an analog deflection signal. An auxiliary deflection coil is driven by the analog deflection signal. The digital filter is switched off during the horizontal retrace. The digital filter is thus protected from disturbance by the transient signal and the digital to analog converter is protected from exceeding a maximum operating frequency.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1999Date of Patent: September 18, 2001Assignee: Thomson Licensing S.A.Inventors: Friedrich Heizmann, John Barrett George, Gunter Gleim, Albert Runtze

Publication number: 20010007483Abstract: A Circuit for convergence setting in a projection television display, having a display screen with a photosensor for detecting impingement of a marker contained in a projected picture. The photosensor generates an output signal having a specific time characteristic. The circuit comprises an integrating element coupled to receive the output signal from the sensor when impinged by a blue marker. The integrating element is dimensioned in such a way that the time characteristic of the output signal of the sensor when impinged by the blue marker is approximately equal to the time characteristic of output signals from the sensor when impinged by a red or green marker.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2000Publication date: July 12, 2001Inventors: Jacques Chauvin, Bernhard Malota, Albert Runtze

Patent number: 6111616Abstract: A set of coarse or initial convergence correction values for a model line of projection television receivers is defined in digital form prior to production using a fine grid or grating pattern. The set of coarse convergence correction values is digitally stored in all the receivers of the model line. A receiver-specific set of fine or final convergence correction values is defined in digital form for each receiver in the model line using a coarse grid or grating pattern. In each receiver, the receiver-specific set of fine or final convergence correction values is combined with the stored set of coarse convergence correction values. Convergence correction during subsequent operation of each receiver is based on the combined convergence correction values. Some of the coarse and fine convergence correction values can be located horizontally outside of the visible picture area of the receivers.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 1998Date of Patent: August 29, 2000Assignee: Deutsche Thomson Brandt GmbHInventors: Jacques Chauvin, Bernhard Malota, Albert Runtze

Patent number: 6097163Abstract: An apparatus for electron beam deflection in a cathode ray tube, in particular in a picture tube of a television set, comprises a deflection coil arrangement for horizontal and vertical deflection of the electron beam, an auxiliary deflection coil arrangement, by means of which the electron beam can be influenced for the purpose of convergence correction, and a compensation coil arrangement for producing a magnetic compensation field. The compensation coil arrangement is arranged and designed such that the compensation field essentially compensates for the stray magnetic field of the deflection coil arrangement in the physical region of the auxiliary deflection coil arrangement.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 1998Date of Patent: August 1, 2000Assignee: Deutsche Thomson-Brandt GmbHInventors: Jacques Chauvin, Bernhard Malota, Albert Runtze
