  • Patent number: 11999035
Abstract: A tool for working a substrate, the tool having a stator and a working piston, which is intended to move relative to the stator along a working axis, also having a drive, which is intended to drive the working piston from a starting position along the working axis to the substrate, the drive comprising a first piston coil arranged on the working piston and a first stator coil arranged on the stator, and the first piston coil being intended to enter the first stator coil during a movement of the working piston relative to the stator along the working axis.

  • Patent number: 11767830
Abstract: A hydraulic system has two hydraulic circuits, each with a pressure generating unit acting on an actuator unit. The generating units are slot-controlled radial piston pumps and form a pump assembly with a single common pump support and single common rotor. The rotor is rotatable on a free protruding section of a common support hub and has piston-receiving bores on axially offset planes. The hub has two first and two second fluid bores. The first bores communicate with first pump connections and first control openings on the hub on a first plane, and the second fluid bores communicate with second pump connections and second control openings on the hub on a second plane. A first and a second adjustment frame, each having an eccentric ring and acting on the pump pistons, are disposed on respective planes perpendicular to the main axis and independently guided in a linearly movable manner.

  • Patent number: 9458045
Abstract: A method for the sealing of glass tubes in a hot softened state is provided. The method includes softening the glass at a severing zone adjacent to an end portion of the glass tube and rotating the glass tube about its longitudinal axis while being heated until a hot softened state is reached in which the end portion is severed off. The hot softened end portion of the glass tube can be pulled-off from the severing zone by a pulling-off device in such a way that the glass tube is simultaneously heat sealed at the severing zone during the severing process.

  • Patent number: 3935444
Abstract: A polarizer structure for a headlight includes an interference-type polarizer followed by an absorption-type polarizer. The interference-type polarizer in one form of the invention is constituted by rectangular plate polarizing sections in a zigzag arrangement, so that the apex angle formed by adjacent polarizing sections is always 90.degree. while the angle of each polarizing section to the optic axis is 45.degree.. In another form of the invention, the polarizer sections are arranged in a diverging louvre arrangement provided with reflecting layers between the polarizing sections, both the polarizing sections and the reflecting layers at an angle of 45.degree. with the optic axis.
