  • Publication number: 20240143334
Abstract: Embodiments of a system and a method for classifying blocks of text at varying, possibly simultaneous, and possibly interacting levels of scope (e.g., sentence, paragraph, section, document) are disclosed. A system includes a processor coupled to: a data reader to receive an input comprising of a data stream, and convert the data stream into one or more logical data blocks of varying scopes. The system includes a dependency tree generator to create a dependency tree to define the scope and dependencies of each of a plurality of natural language processors (NL Processors) with respect to each other such that the dependency tree identifies when an input of a NL Processor (depender) depends on an output of another NL Processor (dependee). Each NL Processor is configured based on a type of at least one logical data block of the one or more logical blocks to which it applies.

  • Publication number: 20240066459
Abstract: A volume compensating device for adsorbent fill compensation in an evaporative emissions canister is provided. The device includes a planar base plate having first and second opposite surfaces. A plurality of legs extend away from the first surface of the base plate. The legs each include a terminal free end. A foot is formed at the terminal free end of each leg. An evaporative emissions canister including the volume compensating device is also provided. The evaporative emissions canister includes an adsorbent filled chamber and a void space separated from the adsorbent filled chamber by a partition. The volume compensating device is disposed in the void space. The second surface of the base plate engages the partition, the feet of the legs engage an inner surface of the void space, and the legs resiliently urge the partition towards the adsorbent filled chamber, thereby preventing the adsorbent from entering the void space.

  • Patent number: 11435983
Abstract: Persistent storage may contain metadata actions and integration actions related to a remote service, wherein the remote service includes a remote service application programming interface (API) that provides access to structured data, and a metadata API that provides access to a schema of the structured data. Processors may be configured to: (i) generate and provide, for metadata action design graphical user interfaces (GUIs), options for specification of a metadata action, where the metadata action defines a metadata query to the metadata API, rules for parsing the schema, and a normalized format for the structured data; (ii) generate and provide, for integration action design GUIs, options for specification of an integration action, where the integration action defines a structured data query to the remote service API and an indication that the metadata action is to be used to represent a result of the structured data query in the normalized format.

  • Publication number: 20220240889
Abstract: A wireless system and method for measuring and analyzing blood in a user's body is provided. The system includes a processing, power, and communication component (PPC) having a hardware unit and first housing enclosing the hardware unit; a probe having a piezoelectric crystal and second housing enclosing the piezoelectric crystal; a dock having a sensor and third housing enclosing the sensor. The second housing is spaced apart from the first housing. The third housing is adapted to removably couple to the first housing. The piezoelectric crystal can transmit an ultrasound wave into the body, receive a return ultrasonic wave, convert the return wave into an electrical signal, and transmit the signal to the sensor. The sensor is configured to receive and then transmit the electronic signal to the hardware unit, which is configured to wirelessly transmit a data set based on the electronic signal to a computer device.

  • Patent number: 11281864
Abstract: Examples of automatically generating natural language pipelines to process an input to generate tags, semantic or syntactic, are described. In an example, on receiving a request to process input data to generate tags, a dependency graph, based on identified dependees and further dependees may be created to satisfy the request, the dependency graph including natural language operations arranged in order of their dependencies on each other. Based on the dependency graph, a pipeline for the tags may be automatically generated, which includes a series of natural language operations such that the operations for dependee tags are processed before any of their associated depender tags.

  • Patent number: 11113470
Abstract: Examples for efficiently representing, processing and deciding amongst multiple ambiguous interpretations of human natural language text are described. Processing includes creating and augmenting an “interpretation graph” which represents all known ambiguous interpretations of some natural language text. The interpretation graph is made of vertices (junction points which lead to alternative interpretations) and ‘lexical items’ (natural language objects representing data blocks, tokens, word parts, phrases, clauses, parts of speech, entities, or semantic interpretations) that represent alternative ambiguous interpretations of portions of the text. The examples show a set of simple operations for augmenting the interpretation graph to create alternative interpretations.

  • Patent number: 10824948
Abstract: A trigger element of a design-time flow plan is set so that the trigger element activates in response computing conditions being satisfied. A decision action element of the design-time flow plan executed at run-time in response to activation of the trigger element is set. The decision action element is implemented by a decision table that includes decision inputs and respective condition logic based on the decision inputs for each of a plurality of decision answers associated with the decision table. The decision table is external to the design-time flow plan. First and second decision answer action elements are defined to execute at run-time respectively when a decision answer served-up by the decision table corresponds to first and second decision answer paths in the design-time flow plan that are associated with a first and second one of the plurality of decision answers, respectively. The design-time flow plan is published.
