  • Patent number: 11149210
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the physical separation of solids and asphaltenes with a conversion degree higher than or equal to 90%, present in refinery purge streams. Said method provides for heating a refinery purge stream to a temperature higher than or equal to 185° C. and not exceeding 220° C. and, subsequently, subjecting said heated purge to sedimentation by progressively lowering the temperature in a controlled manner to a minimum temperature of 100° C., without stirring the purge, so as to form a light phase and a heavy phase defined in relation to the density.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 29, 2018
Date of Patent: October 19, 2021
    Assignee: ENI S.P.A.
Inventors: Alberto Landoni, Stefania Guidetti, Giuseppe Belmonte

  • Patent number: 9700880
Abstract: A catalytic system characterized in that it comprises: a first catalyst, having a hydrogenating function, consisting of solid particles of which at least 95% by volume having an equivalent diameter smaller than 20 ?m, containing one or more sulfides of metals of group VI and/or VIII B, possibly prepared starting from an oil-soluble precursor of the same; and a second catalyst, having a cracking function, consisting of solid particles of which at least 90% by volume having an equivalent diameter larger than 5 ?m and smaller than 5 mm, containing an amorphous silico-aluminate and/or a crystalline silico-aluminate and/or an alumina, the equivalent average diameter of the solid particles of the second catalyst being greater than the equivalent average diameter of the solid particles of the first catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20160265150
Abstract: Multi-needle quilting machine comprising at least a base, an introduction unit configured to feed at least a material to be quilted in a direction of feed and at least a stitching unit to make stitches on at least one material. The machine comprises a first stitching unit and at least a second stitching unit each provided with at least a row of needles with an oblong development along a respective longitudinal axis, at least one of either the first stitching unit or the second stitching unit being installed on at least one platform selectively translatable, with respect to the base, in a direction of movement substantially orthogonal to the direction of feed.

  • Publication number: 20150184320
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention relates to a machine for sewing, embroidering, quilting and/or the like. Another embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for sewing, embroidering, quilting and/or the like. In one example, the present invention may be applied (e.g., as a machine and/or method) to a multi-needle machine or method. In another example, the present invention may provide for automatic lower (or bottom) thread cutting. In another example, the present invention may provide for automatic lower (or bottom) thread cutting by utilizing the phase (that is, movement phase) of a return of a looper (or hook) to cut the lower (or bottom) thread.
