  • Patent number: 11933078
Abstract: A restraining device that can be positioned and secured using one hand includes a housing, a strap, a handle, and a locking unit. The housing has a pair of apertures positioned singly in front and rear ends thereof. The strap, which has a first end engaged to the housing, extends from the housing loopedly back through the pair of apertures to define a loop. A second end of the strap is external to the housing. The handle is engaged to the strap proximate to the second end. Hands of a person can be inserted into the loop so that the strap is positioned around wrists of the person. A user is positioned to pull on the handle to tighten the strap around the wrists. The locking unit, which is engaged to and positioned in the housing, can selectively engage the strap to prevent expansion of the loop.

  • Patent number: 11268763
Abstract: Electric arc, and ladle, furnaces 10 have components 14 with a high-emissivity/high reflectivity layer 18 disposed on the hot face 16. The component 14 includes a water-cooled panel 40, a duct 34, roof 12 frame 38, pipes, dry delta 36, water-cooled delta 28, fourth hole elbow 32, fourth hole roof 42, side walls 26 and combinations thereof. The high-emissivity/high-reflectivity layer 18 comprises, in dry admixture, from about 5% to about 40% of an inorganic adhesive, from about 45% to about 92% of a filler, and from about 1% to about 25% of one or more emissivity agents.

  • Patent number: 10592726
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for object detection, including manufacturing part detection, are disclosed. A method for identifying a manufacturing part includes receiving an image comprising a manufacturing part from an augmented reality device and determining a bounding perimeter encapsulating the manufacturing part. The method includes receiving a prediction label and a confidence value for the manufacturing part from a neural network. The method includes generating a message comprising the image, the prediction label, and the confidence value, and providing the message to the augmented reality device.

  • Publication number: 20020004390
Abstract: A method and system of managing telecommunication service and network connections in a colocation site is provided. A customer service module communicates with customers regarding at least one telecommunications resource within the colocation site. An engineering module manages provisioning of the telecommunications resource within the colocation site in response to communications with the customers. An MIS module collects information on operation of the telecommunications resource, and reports to the customers based on the collected information. The customer service module receives requests for pre-sales information (e.g., pricing, availability, equipment configuration, and space within the colocation site), receives and processes orders for use of the telecommunications resource, provides customers with account status, and receives requests to terminate use of the telecommunications resource.
