  • Publication number: 20230255397
Abstract: Described is a control method for dispensing a hot fluid in a fluid dispensing device, which comprises a power supply source; a source of fluid to be heated; a feed unit configured for picking up the fluid to be heated; a boiler or heat exchanger; a dispensing device configured for dispensing the hot fluid and a data control and processing system which actuates the following steps: a measurement of inlet parameters comprising at least an inlet power value and an inlet temperature of the fluid towards the boiler or heat exchanger; a cyclical calculation of a quantity of heat generated which must supply the boiler or heat exchanger and/or a quantity of fluid dispensed; consequent adjustment of the value of heat generated by the boiler or heat exchanger and/or the quantity of fluid dispensed, as a function of the measurements of the inlet parameters and of a wanted or desired value of outlet temperature of the fluid; the above-mentioned measurement, cyclical calculation and adjustment steps are performed simulta

  • Patent number: 11485008
Abstract: A Manoeuvring rod comprising a first elongated portion tubular-shaped and provided with a handle portion configured to be grasped by a user, and a second elongated portion engaged to the working tool). The elongated portions are mutually telescopically engaged in such a way to be able to freely slide one with respect to the other. A blocking/unblocking device is then provided arranged to move from a blocking configuration, in which impedes the above disclosed free sliding, to an unblocking configuration, in which, instead, allows the above disclosed free sliding. The above mentioned movement of the blocking/unblocking device from the blocking configuration to the unblocking configuration, or vice versa, is directly actuated by the user by acting on a control member positioned at the handle portion.

  • Patent number: 11344151
Abstract: A method for the optical recognition of capsules for hot beverages machines comprises the steps of introducing a capsule in a machine, stimulating the capsule by an exciting optical signal emitted by a light source, reading a feedback optical signal by an optical reader, acquisition of the values of the frequency and/or the time frame of the feedback optical signal, determining the fulfillment of predetermined conditions on the values of the frequency and/or the time frame. On the basis of the step of evaluating there is then a step of blocking the normal operation of the machine or a step of pursuing the normal operation of the machine.

  • Patent number: 10369964
Abstract: The keyless entry system (KES) controls access to a vehicle's doors, trunk, hood, etc., through a keyless entry device (e.g., a key fob) using wireless communication with the vehicle. The technology described here mitigates vulnerabilities in the KES implementation by employing a device configured to suppress a keyless entry command until an additional means of authentication is verified, at which point the keyless entry command is unsuppressed.

  • Patent number: 6161469
Abstract: The invention relates to an espresso machine, wherein water in the boiler (1) is superheated and kept at a temperature above 100.degree. C. for producing steam to be supplied to a dispenser nozzle (10), which superheated water is mixed with cold water at a mixing station (12), to obtain hot water having a temperature below 100.degree. C., supplied to the coffee brewing unit (13) and to the dispenser nozzle (10). According to the invention, the coffee brewing unit (13) is attached to the lower side of the boiler (1) and is connected to the mixing station (12) by means of a feed pipe (14), which is at least partly housed in the boiler (1). In the pipe (4) for feeding cold water to the boiler (1), a non return valve (16) is provided, which opens in the direction of flow into the boiler and is situated downstream from the branch point of the pipe (11) for feeding cold water to the mixing station (12).
