Albrecht Bock has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 6872255
Abstract: A device for processing an electrically conductive component includes positioning means that position the component to be processed in a processing position. The positioning means are provided with means for generating a magnetic field. The magnetic field generates forces that act contactless on the component and in this way bring about or support the positioning of the component.

  • Publication number: 20040189133
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for application of the main insulation to conductor bars, in particular conductor bars for stator windings, with the conductor bars having a rectangular cross section. The method comprises the following steps: connection of the individual conductor bars to form a quasi-infinite conductor bar with a rectangular cross section; sheathing of the quasi-infinite, rectangular conductor bar with main insulation; cutting out or detaching of the unusable connecting points.

  • Publication number: 20040188876
Abstract: The invention relates to devices (50, 100) and a method for the coating of conductor lines, in particular for the insulation of stator windings of rotating electrical machines. According to the invention, an extruder head (50) is provided for use in a device for the coating of a conductor or a conductor line (72), having at least one extruder die (56), which is connected on one side to a supply conduit (58) for feeding the coating material. On the other side, the extruder die (56) opens out into into a region to which the conductor that is to be coated or the conductor line that is to be coated is adjacent during operation. Furthermore, the outlet of the extruder die (56) can be closed by means of a seal (57).

  • Patent number: 6777848
Abstract: a high-voltage generator, notches (3) leading radially inward are provided in each segmental lamination (1) on the radial outside of the laminated stator body and end in a relief opening. The notches (3) cause the amplitude and the frequency of, for example, a 4-node vibration occuring during operation to be limited to noncritical values, although the laminated body is undersized mechanically with regard to its yoke height (JH).

  • Patent number: 6645416
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for applying the main insulation of conductor bars, in particular conductor bars for stator windings, whereby the conductor bars have a rectangular cross-section. The method comprises the following steps: insertion of a conductor bar with ends in an injection mold; centering of the conductor bar in the injection mold so that a void for holding an insulation material remains between the conductor bar and the injection mold; filling of the void with an elastomer in order to form the main insulation.
