Abstract: A method and system for conditional transactions (purchases/financial transactions) are provided. The system may include of these types of cards, to include but not limited to, credit, debit, gift, stored-value, charge, ATM or may use mobile devices with NFC in a swipe and go mode, or other types of mobile payment systems. The system provides one or more master accounts wherein each master account is tied to and control one or more subordinated accounts. Each subordinated account may have a configurable/customizable set of permissions defined by the master account. The subordinated account holder would optionally require permission from the master account holder to complete a purchase/financial transaction. The master account holder would have an extensible number of configurable/customizable permission rules to choose from for each subordinate account.

Abstract: A multi-user system for creating and maintaining a knowledge base is implemented on a variety of computer systems, including single-user personal computers, networked personal computers, and data communications networks, including the Internet. The system has a graphic user interface which can be easily learned by non-programmers. The knowledge base is displayed as a hierarchical multiplicity of nodes, in which each node is related to one or more superior nodes. Title of text, rules, references, and attributes associated with each node are displayed, and may be modified. Simulation is used to verify the knowledge base once generated. Data may be extracted from the bases in the form of hard-copy books, databases for downloading into Web browsers, and databases for downloading into hand-held computers including a multiplicity of grids, and a multiplicity of branches in the form of a logic tree.

Abstract: A System for screening of medical decision making is described. The system runs on a personal computer, and incorporates a knowledge base containing the data required to perform the screening, as well as the rules to be incorporated. The knowledge base is organized into criteria sets subdivided into categories, which include clinical specialties, such as surgery, and imaging, or a level of care, or a body system. The criteria sets are further subdivided into interventions, review types, and levels of care. Finally, within each subdivision, the user selects criteria points which are representations of the patient's clinical condition. Upon selection of the criteria points, the system will indicate whether or not a selected method of treatment is medically appropriate or not. The review process is recorded for subsequent examination.
